- TOOK THE #POSEIDON OUT FOR THE FIRST RIDE ON THE NEW #MICROSHIFT #SWORD 1X SYSTEM. OVERALL DID REALLY WELL. THE BIGGEST IMPROVEMENT IS THE FEEL IN THE HAND, NEXT BEST PART IS THE CLEAN LOOK OF THE REMOVAL OF THAT EXTERNAL SHIFT CABLE. WE'LL PUT SOME MILES ON THIS AND SEE HOW IT HOLDS UP OVER THE NEXT 100+ MILES

Really nice budget set with the dropper option
Yes seems great so far. Going to hopefully get some serious mileage in over the next few days to get a real good feel for it.
The compressionless housing makes all the difference. I swapped all my bikes over once I tried it. First on my gravel bike with juin tech f1 and I was really impressed. I tried it on my secondary gravel bike with trp spyers and it was good but swapped those calipers for Amazon hydro’s and they fell as good as my juin techs. About 400 miles on those now.
Nice. Yea I didn’t believe before, as I had the jagwire kid on my original x and it didn’t seem to make much difference at all. Maybe I bought the wrong kit. But this one feels very nice.
Where'd you buy it?
Amazon. Originally saw it like last week 5 available. Then saw there was only one left so I pulled the trigger. I’ve also seen it on eBay.
Updated thoughts?
I ended up selling the bike. But did enjoy the sword setup a lot more than the regular advent. Specifically the feeling of the levers. Just over all a really great fit in the hand. Shifting was pretty much the same experience.

@@junjai916I sold the bike because I wasn’t using it as much as I had hoped. I also think the small size was a bit too small for me. The x is a great bike and really good value. I’d buy again and again. It’s just hard sometimes to get that perfect fit when buying online.
