It's so good to watch your videos again. Been thinking about you and your family and missing your videos. I've been busy taking care of my father in-law.. I always picked one person's videos we watch all weekend from Friday til Sunday night. Your videos have been picked for all weekend...
I pray that the storm didn't affect y'all to much. Here in Middle Tennessee, my part we got a good amount of rain but it didn't last very long, praise the Lord, Blessings y'all!
Nice to see everything come together in time for fall. You folks had a very productive summer and hopefully right now you are not using those sandbags for a purpose you never intended on using them for.
I saw a Company in New York that built a Triangle shaped Spear that you can put the Tires on and help when covering the Silos,I’ll look I shared with Farming and Fixing Channel Horrigan Dairy!
Just a forewarning Wednesday It Will Rain about five inches or more available wind might have chances of tornadoes and then Thursday it'll be cold in the morning and about 70° day 😁
Amazing how the look has changed with the old barn gone. So many changes in a relatively short amount of time. Great work this summer, now on to harvest time.
Erick you should keep a skid nearby so as cut open new sections of the silo you can put the side wall tires on it as you move on. That way you'll avoid doing the extra work of cleaning up the bunks and stacking tires. That's how I do it
A couple leaf blowers might have made quick work of cleaning out the bunker silos. But maybe that would create too much dust plus might not get the dirt stuck on the concrete. Just a thought.
Wouldn’t it be easier (more effective) to pallet those tires and sand bags as you go? Seems like once you get a dozen or so feet taken from the bunker you could place pallets and just stack as you go. Just thinking out loud, really. I know my Dad would make sure it was done that way. lol
Hello Eric, Greetings from Northern Arizona. My wife and I love all your videos! When we watch you and your dad working on your machinery I always say where is the WD-40? Plus where are your gloves!!?? You must have major calloused hands? You work hard which good to see! I grew up on a Minnesota dairy farm with 100 head of Holsteins. God Bless you and your family.
Do you ever stack the tires or sand bags as you use them to save time in the late summer? The extra work seems avoidable! Hand broom? Why not a backpack blower! Work smarter not harder! Lol
Green/Bronze frog (Lithobates clamitans) if anyone was curious. I want to say it's a female (the eardrum doesn't look markedly larger than the eyeball, meaning female).
You can get quite a workout stacking the tires. The rain was pretty bad and I hope it did not affect your farms too much. Looking forward to the next video. thanks.
Seems like an awful lot of double handling. Would it be easier to keep an empty skid at each bunk and stack tires or sandbags as you take them off the plastic?
Thank u for the kindness to the frog. Shows the kind of person u r. A good person.
“The occasional toad, but that’s a straight up frog!” 😂😂
Love you moving the frog! Also pray you, family and fellow farmers did well thru IDA! Let us know if we can help.
"Straight up frog." That made me laugh, thanks for another great video.

Not only kind to your animals 🐄, but also toward the visitors 🐸👍❤️
You were very kind to save the straight-up frog.
Hey 10th generation farmer. Was looking at a couple of your videos. You have a nice looking farm.
I pray that the storm didn't affect y'all to much. Here in Middle Tennessee, my part we got a good amount of rain but it didn't last very long, praise the Lord, Blessings y'all!
Stihl 600 backpack blower....it would do wonders on those edges. You wouldn't have to sweep as much. That blower will move bricks.
Eric, if you got as much rain as we did those bunkers must be as clean as a whistle! Nice videos
Yeah definitely we got over 6inches in southern Lancaster PA.
@@zimmhollowfarm8414 we got 6.2 inches in Burlington Ct
We had 7.5 about a half hr south of his farm.
I probably can eat of a floor, that how clean they are now
@@TheRealJesseStoltzfus wow
That sweeper brush has definitely seen better days.
Attachments are not cheap
Excellent video Eric. Can’t wait till you fill the bunks up. My favourite time of watching your videoed. 🏴
Tyres tyres and more tyres!
Love watching you guys. I vacation in lancaster multiple times a year and visit your area as well. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for saving that frog lol
Excellent! Thanks Eric
manure really does a number on work boots and dad should give you a raise so you can get new ones.
Good on you for saving the frog. Much respect
Little did you know HOW WELL those bunks would be washed out with the rain totals received from Ida.
Nice to see everything come together in time for fall. You folks had a very productive summer and hopefully right now you are not using those sandbags for a purpose you never intended on using them for.
I love how he halted production for the frog
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND ERIC
thanks for saving the frog
Loving the videos Eric!
First btw :)

It's the time to get the bunks ready.
Always something new to learn about farming on your farm. Thx Eric. 🇨🇦
Always impressed by this hard working family
Just a forewarning Wednesday It Will Rain about five inches or more available wind might have chances of tornadoes and then Thursday it'll be cold in the morning and about 70° day 😁
Cant wait for harvest, it’s my favorite time of the year for CZcams Videos!
That new open area looks like a great place to build a new barn.
looking forward to corn silageing as always!
You moving that frog truly shows your compassion for animals! Farmers truly are caring souls.

That frog was seeing what’s good in the hood. 😂😂😂😂

Yeah it would be good to stack them throughout the year
You could also add some sort of pipe to the center of the pallet and create a jumbo ring-toss game ;)
@@brianhaas7269 good idea
Hello Eric,
Greetings from Northern Arizona.
Wheres Martin (Larson Farms) when needing it?
Your videos are always sooo calming 💙
Can you do a drone picture over the farm buildings and layout now you have demolished the barn and built the new heifer barn, thanks.
Great videos enjoy watching greetings from 🇲🇰
Your corn looks good and will be a good harvest for sure. Good luck harvesting the corn
Love the videos, straight forward, no nonsense and no drama....
A funny fact: All toads are frogs, but all frogs ant not toads.
very good video Eric. thank you, your dad and fonzie
Now you just need a Martin to finish it off
I hope you have a great weekend, Eric! Great video!
@ 2:11 "a few more to do" How do you eat an elephant? one bite at a time That was a lot of work .
Yea Eric awesome videos always great to watch the videos and yes hope all goes well with the rain fall from ida god bless
Might go better and WAY more efficient if you put the tires on the pallets as you take them off the silage!!
That hurricane looked like a doozy from the video driving through the eye wall into the eye down near Houma, LA. Lots of destruction on this one.
I pray that the hurricane didn't disrupt your life and farm operation to profoundly. You had me worried each time I watched the news
Always a pleasure to see a professional work
More Silos in the new Area
Appreciate all your hard work!
You can get quite a workout stacking the tires. The rain was pretty bad and I hope it did not affect your farms too much. Looking forward to the next video. thanks.
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always 🐄 Man!!!!!
why do you have this tire mess every year? why not stack them on the pallets as soon as you take them off the bunker? would save quite a bit of work
Would be smart to stack them throughout the year I agree
Or get an old hay wagon and put posts on it to store the whole lot. Sort of like a ring toss game.
@@mikepomatto4287 That is genius! Are you speaking from experience?
@@mikepomatto4287 I imagine it would be more tiresome (excuse the pun) having to lift each one off the posts again
Why not just get rid of all the tyres and replace them with more of the green sand bags plus its easier to store when not in use
Silage juice must be a little acidic it looks like it eats into the concrete slab and exposes the aggregate.
Looks like Dad is using the Kid Loader, not the Skid Loader! Haha
Can't wait for corn harvest. Always love that time if year
"Hope we don't get too much rain" lol, oops!
Great video. Always enjoy seeing your great crops.
If you were in Texas I would say “watch for snakes”
I appreciate you making the videos ..and thanks for the 🐸 save!
Thank you for posting a video always fun to watch actually always just wonderful to watch. ... to see the World actually how it is.
Love the video
I heard that Lancaster had 6" of rain; I wonder what the next video will tell us about your plans. Good luck on your decisions!
Always wondered what town or city is close to your farm???
My only fear would be how many snakes you would come across, being warm tires.....
haven't had a tire toss in a while....
Good job fred 🤙🤙🤙
HOPE YOU GUYS FAIRED OK FROM ALL THAT RAIN AND TORNADOS
open area: new basketball court....?
Dang that was one big frog, he is eating good in the neighborhood!!!!
Can't wait for silage harvest
Next time try using a leaf blower, it might make your cleanup easier!
You could put a bunker silo there to replace the concrete silo that u have to me so off
might be time for a new pair of Redwings..😁
Goodness, always work to do on a farm.
Eric,,you guys go get....it's a vacation time with little Evelyn,,,time off...!
Seems like an awful lot of double handling. Would it be easier to keep an empty skid at each bunk and stack tires or sandbags as you take them off the plastic?
Eric, old barn site looks great!
Thank you for saving the frog
You should get some pit viper sunglasses. They look insane and there safety glasses
North Louisiana, so Ida didn't mess with us how it swung east. Throw us an ida update for your region?
Very envious of young backs that still work, the pain will come later.
Saludos desde Argentina...!!.✌✌✌
Can't wait to see the chopping videos
Hi Eric how are you doing? What your favorite tractor and why is it your favorite?
Great. Well done.
Good work brother
How come you don't stack the tires as they are removed?
I like that name Fonzy. That's a cool name
You should get you a grapple so you can grab the car tires instead of just pushing them
