That pocket is really neat. I like those sorts of pockets, where it is part of the front side seam, but I've never seen one where it was all one piece. Kind of clever.

Hi Brittany, I was researching this pattern and came across your old video! Your filming is much better now (the sound) but your fab video convinced me this quick and easy skirt looks like so much fun, and it is a very versatile pattern so I need to get my hands on it. Do you remember if you cut your normal size? I am seeing a lot of people say that the amount of ease in this pattern is insane so they cut a smaller size. Have a blessed day!

I bought this pattern years ago and got frustrated with the elastic part! When you stitch the sides, what happens to the rest of the elastic at the front before you close up the opening?
Would this be suitable w a stretch twill?
Are those pockets deep enough?
