I somehow accidentally deleted the part about clothes! But I won't leave you hanging ;) Get cute clothes at the HUGE mall and shopping center next door to it in Jerez. It's all part of the big shopping center complex that has Ikea!

WOW! Rota has changed soooo much... I was there from 1974 through 1977. We had NONE of these nice markets and shops!! Back then it was still just s rustic small farmland town. Every main street was just a continuous line of bars.. It was said that back then there were 100 to 125 bars in Rota.
That’s a lot of bars 🍻
We were there from 1970-74. I agree- there were none of these stores there. To get fresh produce or meat, you went to the public market.
Love Rota was stationed there for 3 years and just fell in love!!! The fashion is to die for personally.
I’m finding your videos very informative! Thank you! We are hoping to move to Rota as retirees and won’t have access to the NEX, but we will be able to use the Mini NEX. Can you please do a video inside the Mini NEX? (My husband says that’s a ludicrous request. Don’t listen to him!)

Ladys. You are caming to Europa! Lest trafic, no crime, easy way of live, great food and gourmet restaurants Of course we have Big cars 4X4. Electric too only on Big cities. And the best and moore famous beaches in Cádiz. Rota IS only a militar base. You hace to get out of Town. Be welcome.

There are definitely places to get tea all over. Fine art supplies - I’m sure there is probably in Jerez!

Super random, but can you tell me how the € works? I see in your video the prices have a coma for example, 3,99. Is that coma supposed to be the period in us money? I e tried googling it but I’m still so confused 😂
Haha yes!!! You’re right! Where we use a comma in the states they use a period. Where we use a period they use a comma! So in the example you used, it’s 3 euros and 99 cents!

Hi, I was wondering about the shopping mall in Jerez. My son just got to Rota and says the NEX doesn’t have much of a variety of clothes. I googled and that mall came up. It says it’s about 25 mins by car from the base. Are there clothing stores there?
In Spain there are no clothing stores, here we walk with loincloths, feathers, bows, arrows and war paint...

Are they set up with electric vehicle chargers? I was thinking about switching but I don’t want to if they don’t have local charging
I don’t think I’ve ever seen one in Rota or puerto. I suppose it’s possible I just wasn’t paying attention but I don’t think the city has them. I know the bigger cities around here do though.
