ALCOs in the Adirondacks

- Follow along as we chase the Adirondack Scenic Railroad from Utica to Thendara. Once the train reached Thendara, the crew did some switching and dropped ADIX 2400 off, so that it could be the power for the train to Big Moose. We would later catch up with the 2400 during its arrival and departure at Big Moose Station. Videos taken on July 15th, 2023. More videos to come!

- ADIX #1835. MLW RS-18u originally built for Canadian Pacific
ADIX #2400. ALCO C424 originally built for the Green Bay & Western

Shame that they are selling all of their F units to LTEX
Yes, really is sad. Especially sad to see the 1508 leaving. Some of its old Alaskan Railroad yellow paint is starting to bleed through. The locomotives are still on the property in Utica, but are in terrible shape
It is unfortunate that they are losing them however they did their job and now get to enjoy some retirement
