Hey guys, I’m Rabea. I'm the lead guitarist in Toska, Frog Leap & Dorje where I write music, make songs and have a great time with my mates. I also have my own line of guitars with Chapman Guitars, and I’ve designed numerous products with some really cool companies, such as the Victory Amps VX Kraken. It's also very cool to see the small musical ties between tracks. The clean section at the end of the video is reminiscent of the intro clean section in Prayermonger, that jumpy minor scale bit is amazing. Seriously cannot wait for this!

Clearly the Kraken Pre left no meat on the bones of that Matamp! Tis a shame it blew up, it had a really nice grind and articulation in the mids that is very "Dave" to me. My guess is that the snake between the control room and amp room wasn't handling the impedance properly, and thus blew the amp. That Selmer is definitely a good replacement though mind you! Can't bloody wait for this record!
I hope this comes out soon, I was supposed to see you guys in Brum but then covid happened so hopefully things happen soon! as always love your guys stuff! massive fan, keep doing what you are doing!

Slave amp? I can feel Dave’s pain, really shitty thing to happen. But it’s really the nature of valve amps...shit can happen sometimes with this kind of gear. I hope it’s nothing too complicated to fix. Good tones and sounds guys.

It’s a shame that Dave’s signature model was cancelled it disappoints me the most because I was saving up for it
When was it cancelled? Chapman still have it on their website and there's been no announcements about it. My guess is that due to the exotic woods used to create it, it's harder to make as a consistent production model so it's only available rarely.

Did it blow because you were using the cable through the wall box?
Perhaps you should have had the head in the same room as the cab so the speaker cable was plugged directly in.

I couldn't tell if it was a joke or not. They had an amp set up in the iso room too. So maybe they were micing both amps? They did say there was a clean and dirty. But either way that mic set up was insane.

I’m afraid it’s not man. Toska disbanded last year, and for several reasons, we decided not to release it.
