Great result, this car looked so much better after being detailed, it transformed from an average dirty run around, to a vehicle that gave an appearance of being cherished, this really demonstrates what time, effort, and quality products can achieve!.
Thank you 👍😎 Just keep it to the facts and explain my findings .. a few people pointed out the tool may be good for dog hair, so will try it out for that task at a later date 👍
Very thorough. My wife bought a duster from a main dealer, couple of years old. I cleaned it for the first time and all the hidden bits were filthy, under the seats in the back etc etc. Great to see yourself doing a great job.
Thanks Sixty Seconds having worked at 2 main dealers, the standards vary so much, but its shocking sometimes how much is missed, And on some very expensive cars 😀👍
Great turnout Phil before I start using my vacuum I spray diluted fabric conditioner mixed with an odour killer in the carpets then use my drill brush to release the crap out the carpets the spray helps bind the dust together to make it easier to vacuum and the mixture makes it smell nice 👍🏻
Another excellent video! Really looking forward to the Fiesta, I just cleaned one i got in this week before going for sale, the carpet was like Velcro lol. Keep it up :)
Its sold and away thankfully :) as you said the cheap cars are flying at the moment, long may it last! Youve convinced me in trying A303 aswell 😂.. I always use Autoglym Vinyl or Autosmart Finish, but i like the way 303 looks so natural 👍
I’ve used the same for years 👍 but it’s well worth a look 👀 I think auto Glym is more useful in the engine bay and arch liners etc 😁 glad you sold the car and made some cash 💰 👍
I own a Fiesta as well, 2006 model and after detailing it myself late last year, I can confirm the carpet is a bugger to work with! Is there anything that can help dislodge the extra dirt?
Magic erasers are the best thing since sliced bread. Its really amazing how much dirt it can pull off, especially on places like the steering wheel and gear lever.
Great job, really enjoy your content. I wish the Volvo dealership I’ve just bought a used car from had used you, or anyone to clean the interior. Just done my own clean which I enjoy doing and found not only dirt mud and grass but things like golf score cards pencils pens and other large items, poor from a main dealer in my opinion.
Hi mark thanks for the positive comments 👍😎 having worked at two main dealers the through put is massive, and sadly they want to pay a very small amount to clean a car .. it varies a lot if they have in house paid staff, it tends to be a lot better ... if lt’s contracted out then the quality drops a lot 😂
Here’s a great tip to save big on clay bars! Okay so when you clay bar don’t flatten it! Leave the clay bar square and when it gets filled up grab a potato peeler and peel of the dirty part and there you go! You can save money. I mean if you don’t then you’ll still be putting contaminants into the cars paint since you’re just folding it to a clean side which may still have stuff on it.
Great job! You make it look easy. Never done detailing before but want to clean my 2009 Audi A4 engine bay, can you advise what do I need to cover up when I jet wash the engine? Thanks
Hi Tejinder My advice if your not sure/concerned then get a professional to do it for 👍 However I have done a couple of engine cleaning video's, so have a quick look to get the general idea. A safer option is to use a hand pump sprayer, use it to spray a strong A.P.C (all purpose cleaner) mix on to the engine and then agitate with a brush. Then use the same sprayer with fresh clean water to rise the dirt/A.P.C residue off... works like a safer mini jet wash 😀👍 Just avoid the obvious .. like the fuse box /alternator / general electrical components.
You doing such amazing work and I hope you get more attention, there is 1 think I wish you would do in future videos.. Please tell us what gear you use! Link it in the description PLEASE :D.. I currently watching out for a cordless rotary polisher and cordless wet vacuum
You did a great job explaining each step and it looks very nice....It would be interesting to know how much time you spent on the exterior and then how much time for the interior.... Do you work for a dealership or are you independent and they contact you for each job??? Thanks for the video...
Hi thank you 😊 for taking the time to watch and comment 👍 I’m self employed and have a small unit, I only clean cars for used car sites in the immediate area (about 8-10) it varies car to car, this took in total around 1.5 days, that includes painting the wheels.
Hi, brilliant video, detailing these cars are awesome, what can be done makes a difference to a car,the flex DA/rotary polisher, how long does it last on a fully charged battery?.
Thanks again for another great video mate. Going to have to buy some Aerospace 303 and try it for myself. Would be interesting to see if I could douse some small mf towels in it and keep them in ziplock bags to have in the boot when I'm on the go or travelling around and want to spruce the dash up quickly.
Not sure if it would “dry out” but I like the idea of trying it 👍😎 they do a very small bottle from memory, or you could by a very small finger spray bottle for travel purposes 👍
Those turbo brushes are great for hair, though requires maintenance if you use it for that. It greatly decreases your sucking power, so it won't really get out sand from down the carpet. Funny weird tip: you could use one of the delta sander whilst vacuuming, it vibrates the sand to the surface so it's easily vacuumed up.
@@everydaydetailing6449 I'm not quite sure what to think of that one! The idea of using pressurized air and vacuum at the same time seems weird and unproductive to me. I did see some impressive stuff from that though. Sure do give it a try if you can!
Have to be careful ass some steering wheel's the colour is painted on and car be easily removed, but you are right on some disgusting wheel's its the best option 😀👍
Great job again! Carpro pearl, what is the durability like on this? I've converted over to using these cheap Chinese ceramic coatings on my black trims (can be had on ebay for just a few quid) and the durability on them seems very impressive.
@@everydaydetailing6449 absolutely, probably not as cost effective but I did all the trims on my car with a £5 bottle of 'Mr fix' from ebay and hardly touched the bottle. Reckon you could get a decent amount of cars out of one bottle 😁
I have that turbine tool thing, it’s great for pet hair that’s what I bought it for I agree with it being useless with big stones etc. But decent for pet hairs
Carpro Perl a product that lives up to the hype. I use it at 3 to 1. However, I use your trick with the autoglym plastic and rubber dressing when dressing engine bays. It saves a lot of arsing around
Having a workshop rain doesn’t really cause a problem 👍 customers just collect them wet, they don’t inspect the Cars on collection, so once completed they are parked up outside. 😎
@@everydaydetailing6449 thanks for the reply was just interested as I'm looking to start my own business here in the UK aswell and obviously weather is an obstacle to that, also id love to see you get general public cars in and less delears cars giving these people so much quality for the price price you do is insane, they will be loving the amount of profit you make them
The almighty tornador would make quick work of those carpets if you’ve got access to compressed air, that thing has saved me days worth of time over the years. Especially for garbage Nissan carpets and others like those where the carpet fibers are interlocked and trap nearly everything that it comes into contact with.
Every Day Detailing It’s pretty much a compressed air gun that blasts out disrupted air and makes quick work of thicker and more tight carpets. You do need an air compressor though.
You do a great job, but some of the neglected cars you get to work on have clearly not been cared for therefore won't have been serviced or mechanically looked after. They look immaculate but might be a load of trouble.
I’ve just bought a numatic Charles and so far it’s very good 👍 I have a dedicated wet vac, but in theory this hoover could do it all .. may do a review or if 👍😎
I like what you do. Why do dealers always take short cuts though? Not you...but I mean when they get you to repair the rims and tell you to do it a certain way. Those rims with the dark grey portions was part of the look of the Qashqai and then they go and paint it full silver like the wheels from a more basic model. For me if I see that I'd walk away. Because I'll question what is being covered up. I guess most people won't notice because people just buy cars these days without really knowing the car or researching. But if you know what the wheel should've looked like it would be suspicious to me.
Fully understand your point of view 👍😎 I’m fussy as well 😁 Truth is at low value £5000 some dealer wouldn’t even paint the wheels at all and leave them as they were. Diamond cut costs around £85 per wheel trade.. they just won’t spend that much hence silver.. they look at the cost saved around £150 could be put towards servicing or tyres etc.
