      @@Back_door_bandit_98 the only thing I guess I’d say is, when your hauling a wheel loader you’d most likely always drive it on forward. So those ramps do work. But I always was weary of them.

    Incorrect, the operating weight for a Hyundai HL 757 9A is 32,408 lbs. Since this loader isn’t equipped with a bucket we’ll subtract 2,500 lbs from that which brings us to 29,908. The weight distribution on a loader by axle is 40% in the front and 60% in the rear which means that you have 11,963.2 lbs on the front axle exerting 5,981.6 lbs on each ramp.

So 40% of 30k which is the machines actual empty weight is 12k divided by 2 as its half the front end puts it at 6,000lbs on the ramp. @geterhero yes, they're typically in that range depending on manufacturer. When the bucket is fully loader to manufacturer specs they run about 80 percent on the front and 20 on the rear. Very handy information when you're filling the tires. Usually the front tires are ran with higher pressure than the rears due to the load ratios.

    Make sure the bucket is off and you have built-in extra support under them ramps before proceeding any futher up the the ramps past the cab.

    Only has about 10,000 #s on the ramps do to the counter weight on rear of loader

  • @jugganaut33
    @jugganaut33 Před 9 měsíci +2

    No bucket. Only the front axle. The majority of the weight will be on the rear axle due to the engine, hydraulics and fluids being back there for counterweight.
    Probably 10k or less on them which is basically 4 tons. Split between 2 ramps, is 2.5 ton ramps. Not so impressive

    Aluminum doesn't hold tensile strength. Therefore, everytime weight gets put onto it, it losses more durability. After weight goes on aluminum enough times it WILL break.

    not only did they take off the bucket, they used the front end which is way lighter than the back.

  • @richtomlinson7090
    @richtomlinson7090 Před 9 měsíci +1

    very impressive, but don't make the mistake of thinking it's actually holding 40,000 pounds.
    it's approximately half, more or less, depending on weight distribution front to rear.
    I'm still amazed though.
    I've just read other comments about how the back is substantially heavier, but still, just an aluminum ladder.

    Each one split the weight, and since back wheels still on the ground, even less. Even less when you consider most of the weight in the rear

    Let's say that each wheel of that loader is holding 40k lbs total, 10k lbs per wheel, if we assume weight is being distributed 100% equally which it isn't but we will argue that it is. That means the 2 ramps are supporting 10k lbs per ramp, so for argument purposes that's pretty damn good.
