    this is their debut album, after some ep's. after this, the band recorded the 2nd album "Shooters" in 1997, and then disbanded when this was released finally in 1998.
    "Superstate" it was released for U.K. (in 1995), and with different front cover (blue cover igloo) for US & Europe (in 1996). The US version (Edel Records/Edel America Records) also has a booklet with photos, lyrics etc.

    Adi’s basslines on Swervedriver’s debut album Raise are a masterclass in godlike genius. Easily in my top 10 basslines on any rock album, and I own over 8000 CDs. I need to hear this whole album someday to analyze his playing on it.

    awesome album i said at the time this album was better than nevermind (nirvana) still stand by thoughts words today

      ..well... better of Nevermind maybe not, but surely this was a killer album, so great, so underrated, and unfortunately so unknown and still unknown for too much people...

    yep a real good album, i have this ‘95 album. Good times... not sure i would put it in the same league as Nevermind... a different kind of pleasure this...
