Adi’s basslines on Swervedriver’s debut album Raise are a masterclass in godlike genius. Easily in my top 10 basslines on any rock album, and I own over 8000 CDs. I need to hear this whole album someday to analyze his playing on it.

I was lucky enough to get this on vinyl in 88, bought it from Ian Armstrongs mom on the phone lol, good times when you could order straight from the record company via their mom

To me The first track sounds like Neurosis and the third sounds like Godflesh
