Same thing happened to me because I forgot to comb out the last section of hair before going to wash it after having braids in for 1.5 months. It happens easier than you think
I’ve been seeing this a lot. This does not just naturally happens🤦♀️ with a sew in this happens when you try to over, extend the sew in and have it in for half a year or a year, you only supposed to have these see in for about 2 to 3 months.🥴🥴🥴🥴🤦♀️🤷♀️
Yea removing any protective style is not a walk in the park , and if someone chooses to leave a protective style in for long periods of time, definitely needs to be removed by a professional or a seasoned veteran of taking down installs .
I’ve worn my sew in for 5 months before. Not intentionally but happenstance. I went home to visit my family & while I was there my little cousin developed a blood clot & almost died so I extended my trip for almost 2months. I’m picky about who does what to my hair so I did not have it taken down while I was home. When I got back to Vegas, my stylist TOOK HER TIME & unraveled & detangled my hair. I only lost normal shedding & my hair is down my back. Whomever this lady’s stylist is either didn’t wanna be bothered or didn’t know WTH she’s doing. She didn’t have to saw that woman’s hair off like that. 🤨
My hair unfortunately was like the first lady's last year but I just used Curl Peace detangling treatment and three other detangling conditioners and combed through it! I had a bag full.of dead hair!My hair is 4c and it happened again! I will do the same process one more time, and hopefully I won't let this happen again!
@@cocaknotzwill this work for combing out locs… I’m in the process now using water and conditioner and yes it takes time, but will your product work better?
Joico moisturizing conditioner could've gotten her right together.... you CANNOT put water on your hair before combing it out it will remain in that state!
Refined Sunflower Oil is a GREAT Detangling solution also!… Mix it in with Conditioners and other Detangling Products just make sure it is Refined Sunflower Oil!… Now can someone help me get My Hair Detangled?… I have Torn Rotator’s Cuffs in both Arms!… I don’t mind paying to get this done!😊🌹
I understand it's possible to detangle matted hair but me personally I freak out when detangling my hair on a day to day basses so if my hair got to that point I'd just go bald and wear wigs 🫠
I wouldn't have the patience to detangle it or sit and have someone else to detangle it. That hair is already weak at this point. Just cut it off and it'll grow back stronger and longer.
This happened to my mom once. She took her hair out and my dad tried to wash it before taking the shredded hair out. One big loc. funniest thing I’ve seen. My parents try to do hair 🤣🤣🤣🤣 epic fail.
its possible especially if her real hair was long id never wash my hair without removing all the shed hair first and shampooing in sections i thought it was common knowledge
Or finger Detangling and create section of braids , twists , just keep your hair separated and from hugging up each other 🥰😍 our hair loves to cuddle ,
🤣😂 no she didn’t just a 2 months but then she removed it and didn’t detangle it , then she went through some personal issues and life happened so then this hair nightmare happened 😩
Ladies, there is a limit for sew-ins!
Nah frl 🤣🤣🤣

@@mstate_but was your hair *washed* directly after take down? Rule #1 of protective styles is to detangle thoroughly BEFORE soaking/washing the hair.
This is why i love my locs
This can happen with stress or depression. Im so glad there is someone like you to help others. ❤
I feel bad for that lady who had her hair chopped off.

lol 😂, that was a lesson learnt
💯, Happened to me as well. Never again.
Wait washing your hair while in a sew in could cause this?
@@bltpodNot for me, maybe they used a drying or clarifying shampoo. I also always use a slippery conditioner.

Ma'am, where were you when my hair got matted?
I will always brush my hair out as much as possible before i wash it so this don't happen

Let's not come up with solutions. Just stop leaving those things in for years, and expect someone else to save your hair.
So did she just leave that Sew in for a few YEARS 😒😒😒 it's a protective style for a few MONTHS at best.
