I'm from the uk and I visited America last year on holiday. The loops I had to jump through was insense. Waited two years to receive a visa, had to visit the US embassy for a interview and a ton of questions at the airport just for a one week visit with family.

This action will ensure population uptick which means seats in Congress and power. If the people coming in get amnesty even better as they will be loyal voters and one side takes full control. The residents of the Maui fire who are displaced are living in Tent Cities and the People of East Palestine can't go home. American citizens displaced, meanwhile in NY, people who have no legal right to enter or reside in the United States are being housed in 5 star hotels and DEMANDING the taxpayer give them housing and other benefits. I've been living in El Paso for the past twenty-seven years. Most people up north don't understand that the border is not a line in the sand but rather a thirty mile wide ribbon from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Ocean.
Thousands of Americans live on the Mexican side and go back and forth daily. All law abiding citizens that live in a Mexican city contiguous to the U.S. can obtain a permit that allows them to cross into the US as long as they want as long as they don't go past the border checkpoints that exist seventy miles on every road leading away from the border.
All illegal entries are charged with 8 USC 1325... misdemeanor entry. Sentence of 0 to 6 months in jail.
Those that return are charged with 8 USC 1326... felony illegal reentry. Sentence of up to 20 years, $250,000.00 dollar fine, 3 years supervised release and $100 dollars special assessment.
The back log and mass migration these guys are talking about is people who approach the border legally and ask for asylum.
It used to be that asylum claims were only valid if the oppressor was a government entity... like the Chilian army.
Now days anyone that is oppressed the government as well as by local criminals in their home country can apply for asylum.
The border wall.. is really a high fence that any limber kid could climb. It only works where there are human look outs or cameras.
There are sections of the border that can not be fenced... deep gorges and canyons. Bunch of places called "smuggler's pass".
When I first got here I talked to old timers that used to smuggle American candle wax into Mexico and others that used to smuggle liquor from Mexico into the US during prohibition.
Smuggling around the border is nothing new.
You want it to stop... threaten regime change down south. If those in power currently can not safeguard their own citizens maybe we should help install regimes that can do so. Not only that... by creating a safety valve where people can escape local violence we prevent those people from remaining home and demanding and working for change.
I am so tired of the illegality of people coming into Texas where I live. Receiving money from these crooks, our money. I lived here all my life but thinking of something out of the USA. It is scary.

I lived in the states for almost 2 beautiful year's. I learned English in 6 months (Minnesota), worked my ass doing digging and construction stuff. Also payed taxes and did everything right. In 1 year I bought a jeep Cherokee and my first house (small but mine). Sadly I was cheated with a very ugly immigration lawyer and I had to came to my country (Argentina). I love your country because if you do the right thing and work hard and of course respect the culture of the country who opened their arms you can achieve wherever you want.
