Eliot Sadler: RU Sure Bout that???
😂😂😂😂😂
Lol
Seriously, thank god for safer barriers.
Seriously, thank god for Michael Waltrip not comentating anymore
Thank God for Hans Device
@@rehbornb1I’d rather him than Kyle Petty!
The ones that didn't involve SAFER walls are really scary.
@@jonp5090 Is that why the drivers are always praising SAFER berriers after they hit one?
Jon P even if it does more damage I’d still want to hit a safer barrier especially at a super speedway at the speed of 160-200 mph it’s better to hit a safer barrier then a cement wall and the car being 34 hundred pounds it makes the impact worse now I’m a big fan of nascar and I was really shaken up after Ryan Newman’s Dayton crash do you think the need to upgrade the roll cage after that?
Who knew that 10 years after Jeff Gordon slammed the inside wall at Las Vegas. Chase Briscoe would do the same thing at the same spot on the backstretch
I lived in Vegas at that time. There were no safer barriers on the inside of the track at that time - just the outside. Jeff’s crash made LVMS change that
My god. The crash was so violent you can see Elliot Sandler’s head whip forward
I never noticed that
That Eric McClure crash still gives me chills to this day. Worst crash I’ve ever seen live. Thank goodness for safer barriers.
No kidding. From what I remember he was in a coma for a good month after that crash
Now im sad, rip eric man
This is the crash that literally ended his career and his life ultimately…… he was never the same after this crash his whole mind was messed up after that…… this is actually so sad
5:01 thats one of the hardest crashes ive ever seen at pocono
I believe it’s the hardest NASCAR crash on record in terms of Gs
@@jonp5090 this has nothing to do with that

Fantastic!
Danica took some shots..
Say what you want but she is tough
Fuller's crash has got to be one of the hardest hits I've ever seen in a stock car. That shit looked like it rolled.
it should have if it hit the wall head on
@@jonp5090 Keep doing more drugs.
Jon P are you stupid. What the hell do you mean car owners care more for their cars than their drivers. You must be delusional if you think that. Also it’s Brennan Poole.
@@jonp5090 SAFER barriers aren't actually preferred by the drivers over regular cement walls due to the amount of damage the SAFER barrier does to the car. The extra give makes more parts shift and break during contact, where the cement stops them suddenly and limits the breaking of parts mostly chassis stuff. Car owners deep down inside dont care about the drivers as much as they care about having a reparable car. Low budget teams like Logano or Keslowski rely on keeping cars in once piece and limit breaks so they can compete with the big boys like Stenhouse Jr and Brandon Poole. Its all about money folks, dont let that fool you.
@@jonp5090 you realize if there werent safer walls then there would have been at least 15 more deaths after dale earnheart's death
Requesting a video: NASCAR’s most passive aggressive moments
Danica had another huge inside wall hit at Daytona in July 2012; hit it so hard that it bent the entire steering column so that the steering wheel was higher than her head.
Also, you forgot Steve Grissom's crash at Atlanta in '97; hit a really badly angled inside wall at the end of the backstretch and tore the whole rear end right off the car.
Mark Martin's little foray into the Talladega infield in '94 ought to get an honourable mention as well!
The Grissom crash also shattered the section of wall he hit. My dad and I were there and it took over an hour to go back racing
13:45 That's the first time Ryan Preece has been that angry
Me on my phone all day but put it down for a few minutes.
CZcamsrs: UPLOADED!!! UPLOADED NOWWWW!!!
Good on JR for running over to check on him. Man that was violent
Jr is easily the nicest driver in NASCAR.
Suggestion: Worst Joe Gibs Racing Crashes
I've never seen anyone hit the wall harder than Eric McClure ever. What an insane impact
For real! It’s like he even sped up!
Park & Earnhardt crash reminded of the "red headed step child" #3 car that Steve Park built, which he won his very first race in and Dale Jr won 7 races in that same car in 1998 and ended up winning back to back championships.
Dale SR gave it the name because he wanted the Chassis painted bright red because he had to watch the race from inside his trailer and wanted to beable to pick the car out easy haha
Can you believe how hard these drivers can hit something, or how many times they flip and roll, and the walk away like nothing happened. Nice job NASCAR engineers
9:39 lagano is the winner lol
Is it me or does Chase Briscoes wreck looks a lot like Jeff Gordon’s wreck? Same wreck, same spot!!!
Briscoe hit harder than Jeff
4:28 announcer: “and Kurt’s getting the worst of it”
Elliott Sadler: what am i A roach?
I still cringe whenever I see that Eric McClure wreck. And to think what it did to him.😭
Whats his injuries?
@@cowmann3555 McClurre suffered a very high number of concussions between 2007 and 2012. It's been documented by other videos here.
Cow The TIMV Mann the concussions gave him a lot of mental issues. He had to go thru a major rehab stage. It’s kinda sad
@@c0hqn And now he's gone. Sad. RIP
@@youhitmeunderyella9504 truth, RIP
3:32 it's the accident that made Gordon complain about no SAFER barriers on the inside. 2 weeks later, every single track that could have it that was on the schedule that year remaining, had it installed
1:50 Everyone always forgets Steve Park’s harder hit at Pocono where he went completely straight into the guardrail and hit it so hard that he was catapulted back across the racetrack
Sorry, I searched and it’s Jeff Green in Steve Park’s car. My bad guys!
13:29: Preece: help
Car: *SLAM*
Preece: ow
Newman: oh my god!!!!
I can’t remember watching that race with Chris Buescher hitting the inside Wall
Im in New Hampshire for the race, us new Englanders only get one a year now. Let's hope there's some good action.
I remember watching the Kyle Busch crash on tv thinking "wow, he's actually getting out of that?!" As soon as I saw him on the ground with the safety crew though- you could just see the agony on his face. I knew then it was very serious. The McClure crash was even worse. Just a sick feeling seeing it.
Seeing Danica's crash I remember her starting a very smart trend of drivers letting go of the wheel in certain crashes- a move that saves broken hands.
I can hear the thuds in my ears, these hits are massive!
Ever since I saw that Ryan preece hard hit it scares me and I thought he was going to flipped over
Kelsi Morrison
First clip announcer said he couldn’t of hit in a worst place. Yes he could of imagine if it was the drivers side he’d be dead.
He was referring to the wall and not the car but I do agree with your statement he was severely injured as it was
In hindsight, thank god there’s no other angle of that Elliott Sadler hit
Joshua Sweeney Seeing him hang out of his car in agony tore my heart out when I saw it live.
Someone who understands physics better than me can probably explain this, but I still have no clue how LaJoie survived at 13:00. The angle of the impact with the wall as well as the impact from the floor looks like it should have snapped his neck or spine without the HANS device.
5:34 that spring off the 23 rolling away like "fk this noise, im out"
I never clicked on a video this fast
The Kurt Busch and Elliot Sadler Crash at Pocono where it said "kurt gets the worst of it" Elliot Sadler is like yeah let me change that for ya YEETTTTTT
I facepalmed when Marty said that. I saw that live and thought Elliott had died. It was that brutal
@@andrewwinslow9315 yeah that crash was scary. I was just making a joke but glad he was ok though
@@thedaltonator3000yt i know you are joking. Marty reid is just dumb
Andrew Winslow did he flip?
@@srvfan25 no he didn't
It still annoys me that there was no good angle of Sadlers crash
Hardest outside next
How can you leave out Steve Grissoms wreck in the 41. That was the nastiest inside hit I have seen besides Fullers.
7:59
Roush's Xfinity program in a nutshell
Elliott Sadler hit at poconos was the hardest hit followed by kurt Busch
Kelsi Morrison
Steve Grissom' s 1997 wreck at Atlanta (before it was configured) should've been up here
13:29 is the most recent one!
Thank god the COT was introduced when it was because if a lot of the more vicious 2007-2010 wrecks had happened with the old car idk if they would've turned out as well
5:20. I remember that crash very well. Eric McClure wasnt even a part of the crash. If I remember correctly his brake rotor on the back right exploded when he tried slowing down to avoid the crash happening in front of him.
that may have been a part of it, but you can see him get shoved and sent down to the wall.
He got bumped by the next to him you see that black car then he gets turned
Preece: *crashes*
Newman: *crashes*
Sadler: *crashes*
Kyle Busch: Am I A Joke To You??
2019 Geico 500 Larson was a massive impact too
Matt Kenseth made a hell of a save. Seen that crash a million times and just noticed
if you make a part two, you should add TJM at Charlotte in Xfinity this year
I will never know how Mears drove for Hendrick as long as he did
I bring that up every time someone brings up ditching Kyle for Jr.
Wedge Antilles I’m a JR fan so I’ll be happy he got the Hendrick ride but man did Hendrick bitch it twice! First keeping Mears instead of Kyle and then taking Mark Martin and Kahne instead of Brad, I know Martin won 5 races but he wasn’t a long term option
Can someone isolate that audio of Jeff Gordon saying “oh gosh” at 7:14
Take a shot everytime they say safer barrier 😂😂
Hits the wall going 170 mph then gets out and puts on his mask yet some people cry about wearing one in a store for 15 minutes. lol
The Randy Lajoie crash is one of the worst crashes in history. It's amazing it doesn't get mentioned more often.
What’s kinda funny is the 2016 talledega race, chase Elliot I believe was one of the only ones to not be involved in something. Idk who else
Thank God for the Hans Device
Video suggestion - most popular nascar underdog winners
A major one this is missing is when Steve Grissom hit the inside wall and flipped at Atlanta in 97
How was Steve Grissom's crash at Atlanta in 1997 not in this video?
Didnt Fullers end his career?
yes im pretty sure
Safety barriers of god damn concrete. I guess those cars are strong enough to withstand that impact without murdering the driver
Hamlin vs. Logano at Fontana: I was there!
And. . . Danica is back
They sure like telling us how much the cars/trucks weigh lol.
Missed the Xfinity crash from Kentucky this year?
Alternate title: Drivers that would most likely be dead without the haans device & safer barriers
The first one happened in Mexico too and the car exploded
my worst one that I've seen in this video was the first one when Jeff Fuller makes a split second decision to avoid hitting Jason leffler in the door after he spun and hit the wall decides to make a hard left and then just pancakes I mean pancakes the right side of his car in that wall where they're opening is at Kentucky speedway I mean I don't know how fast he was going he was going pretty fucking quick when he hit it cuz as soon as he hit that wall the car just came to a dead stop I mean it came to a dead stop and then rubber banded to the right
5:47 I never noticed before. Maybe somebody knows the answer: Did Eric McLure (sp) lose his brakes when he got turned? Because he never scrubs off speed. Everyone else has their cars locked down. He drove into a wall.
Eirher that or a stuck throttle
@@KimiMTZ17 I mean, maybe... he doesn't seem to lock it down at all
Whats worse?
Larson 2017 inside wall hit
Or
Preece 2020 inside wall hit
I’d say preece’s
waited for 13:29
Kyle Busch hit that wall so hard.
The announcer doth say, "And Kurt's getting the worst of it."....but lo....he did not.
oh no he didnt
I love 1:46 OH TROUBLE
We all know Ryan preece was on here
Car of Tomorrow was the stupidest decision NASCAR has made yet. That car caused so many issues. Whoever came up with that idea should have been fired immediately.
i know its the outside wall, but who's here after Kurt's wreck at dega fall 2020?
I already know ima cringe to every clip
Robert Pressley at Darlington
Sadlers was the worst
Darrell Waltrip is the John Madden of NASCAR. He ended up getting so out of touch with the sport.

*We All Know The Hardest Hit In NASCAR Was My Man Dale* 😔
I know it’s a very unpopular opinion, but racing never belonged on ovals longer than 1 mile. Safety didn’t become such a factor until we started to build these tracks, and they tear up more race cars, costing teams more money, than any bumper-beating short track or road course. I’m willing to accept it as part of the sport as long as we continue to step up safety.
Yeah you're not wrong it took Nascar and other Leagues forever to take Safety in consideration.
that first one is awful

Today's NASCAR ain't my Momma's NASCAR, may she rest in peace! She'd be yelling at the TV, "Rusty, get Earnhardt! Put him in the wall! That dirty S.O.B.!" My dad-in-law LOVED the Intimidator. He would yell to Earnhardt, "Put his slow ass into the wall!"
