I don't understand why every foreigner is obsessed with old Delhi which is only like 10 percent of Delhi. 90 percent of Delhi is new and used pretty modern. If you stay in new Delhi I am pretty sure you would wanna come to Delhi once again because it's a beautiful city.

Well i have deposited much more valuable stuff at many of the temples. It's a religious place, so no one will try stealing. Such bad impressions and pre imagined notions about India. Ugh!
BTW bags are being deposited because there has been a terrorist attack there and 6 people died in that. So just a precaution.

Asking for a cloth shop at 0730 in the morning is sure shot way to get scammed. No market in Delhi opens before 1030. One more advice to women travellers, please avoid venturing to random locations in Delhi, immediately after landing. This place is too overbearing and bewildering for outsiders. Even Indians from other parts of the country find it difficult to adjust. So, wait at the airport if you have no other place to spend time....go straight to the guest house or hotel using pre paid taxi or Uber, and align yourself to the general area. All good hotels have well informed receptionists, who can guide you properly. Delhi has a lot to offer, provided you have time to explore and not a couple of days stop over.

Well it's very much necessary to deposit your stuff before you enter Akshardam Temple because of some terrorist attack which took place few years back. But it is completely safe to deposit your stuff, it will be handled carefully and hardly things get misplaced there. Men are not even allowed to wear leather belt lol.

Awh man... i feel bad you got scammed the first thing after landing in Delhi. And i cant believe you guys went into Sarojini and didnt lose your minds 😂 The place is usually so crowded and the vendors pester people so much, even being a local its pretty annoying 🙈🙈
