- In this episode, it’s sadly our last day, we visit the stunning area of Berry Head, which is absolutely stunning, then on the afternoon we venture back into Brixham where we meet the iconic resident that is BLACKHEART, the pirate of Brixham

Oh boy the mountain I would have to put a rocket on the back of my mobility scooter to get me up there and I would definitely give you a lift Lynn laughing at the thought of us on the scooter as we wizz passed you Rob 😂😂..... Love seeing Dutch and Mavis out and about with you saw Dutch on the vlog rolling around on the grass when you got bk from the walk she is doing amazing with her little side kick Mavis 1🐶🐶..... Yes there are some massive hills there but worth it for the views! Glad you made it to berry head it’s a lovely spot and you can see for miles to Weymouth on a clear day and there are amazing birds you can see nesting there is a lovely beach near there called St Mary’s Bay which is secluded and really nice and well worth seeing on a good day! Landscove is a lovely site and has a great location many years ago it was a holimarine site always popular

We have stayed at HILL HEAD CARAVAN PARK a few times and it was lovely and we went to brixham a few times while we were there and its so beautiful
Lyyn were u having trouble with ur signal at the site cos when u and rob were talking at the end of vlog we seen the mast behind u so we thought u wood have great signal there?

I’ve been in Brixton five in London and in Devon live there in the 80s, but a very nice price that is apart from the fish. I don’t wanna smell of fish so it’s like pies to visit Devon and Cornwall and you look. I’m glad you enjoyed yourself, Rob and Lynn, specially Lynn💙💋😍🫶👩
It’s a lovely place, and I suppose the fishy smell is comes with it being a fishing port.

Seagulls have some front these days and are massive. They were amazing views. That hill was a whopper.

You certainly had some decent weather. I don't think I would have made it up hill, at least not in daylight, my knees are terrible. It looks a lovely place. Been about 25 years since we were there with Mum & Dad.

Just in Yipes Belgium visiting the mening gates the last post at 8pm was very moving to think this is played every night and us in England can only manage once in November to remember the fallen

WOW. Being so familiar with Brixham as we are, we are surprised you walked to Berry Head even from the Rugby Club. You are more fit than us. We did take our van up there but it was well out of season (November) and we were the only vehicle on the car park. For anyone local reading this who may know Sophie's grandma Joyce Rundell, another wonderful Brixham lady, please pass on our love and we will be back to visit at the end of July. We can't wait. We have loved these Brixham vlogs, reminds us just how much we love it and will have to return 😊.
We also fell prey to the seagulls, outside cooking doing chicken and yrs the bloody thing swooped down and took some 😢.
Think you both did great walking that hill, we find walking up better on the knees but not on the lungs 😅.

We’ve been to Brixham few times. The last time we were there was a pirate festival it was fantastic with everyone dressed up. We stayed at the caravan and motorhome club site and got the bus in there and back, far too many hills to walk up and down we also got the ferry across Torquay. The seagulls are a bit of a pain lol 🤣

Berry head is very pretty.We have the same problem with one of our dogs Rosie is half staffy looks a bit like Dutch.Shes 13 now has arthritis and struggles with walking.We can't go very far with her now either is so sad

Ahh that's a shame, you didn't go to the end of berry head. That's where the views are.
You also chose the tourist fish n chip shop not any of the decent ones.
Simply fish and rock fish are the best ones as they use fresh fish. Being in a fish town you have to have proper fish n chips made with fresh fish.
We know, we would have loved to but our old staffie had had enough
