    Boy Howdy, the running back room could be thunder & lightning, "me likes" some Watson. Great memory Mase I was coming home from a Nuggets play off game with a date and friends 41 years ago and heard the news of Elway to Denver. Chris Hinton and Mark Hermman to Indy, WHO? Yeah, Edgar Kaiser (owner) got it done. Thanks brothers, you're appreciated.

    Let's have some talk about how these backs, especially Estime, will perform in the pass-receiving part of the game. Why? 2.4 seconds. Bang bang.

    @ingemarcruz Před 14 dny +1

    Is it me or Peyton is looking for it's quick release qb (Brees = Nix), a good 50-50 WR (Thomas - Sutton), a 3rd Down RB (Kamara = Williams), a brawler RB (Ingram = Estime), a vertical TE (Graham = Dulcich), and above average o-line

    Audric Estime reminds me of Mark Ingram, maybe a little slower but better at hurdling over defenders.

    There's a lot of teams that would love to have Javonte on their team... I guess is about trade value, right?
    I like Javonte, but the injuries that he sustained might put him on the outside looking in.
    We shall see...
    Go Broncos!!!

      love Javonte too! hope he can be the back he used to be (because last year he was a shadow of his former self)

    You have to feel bad for RB's. They get worked so hard, short careers, we praise them and discard them quickly. I think J. Williams came back too soon and I'm hoping he has a stellar 2nd year post injury. I still dig the Estime pick-up.

    If a runner is stuffed at the line of scrimmage, 90% of the time that is on the line. NOT THE RB

  • @derantelemelle5379
    @derantelemelle5379 Před 12 dny

    Also look at the offense he was in with two receivers who are decent and QB was average so it’s going to be more in the box 🤦🏾‍♂️

  • @derantelemelle5379
    @derantelemelle5379 Před 12 dny

    Rotating receivers like cmon the type of offense we were running people loaded the box against an rb who is actually pretty good better than the other 2 runners

  • @marionknight505

    Cecil because you like Watson doesn’t make him better than #38 Jaleel. Thank God for Mase. Watson is not better than Jaleel get over it Cecil every year you like someone and talk about that someone months after the draft smh😮😮

    • @CecilLammey34
      @CecilLammey34 Před 14 dny

      you'll be alright....and we shall see who emerges. I talked a lot about Jaleel last year, was super excited about him...still am excited about 38....BUT he needs to pass protect better.

    Do you two actually LISTEN to video clips of what Sean Payton says or just make up what you'd like people to think he said? Andrew Mason at 1:27 says regarding Payton's vision for Audric Estime; "...the way Sean Payton describes it, he sounds suspiciously like RB 1..." Eh...sorry, no that's not what he said, in fact he resisted saying that. What Payton ACTUALLY SAID is, "The first vision would be first and second down runner, you know, I'm always hesitant to say someone's a third down runner but we'll see how that unfolds..." A first and second down runner is not "RB 1"...that would be a guy who is an EVERY DOWN type runner.
    Not to be outdone on the hyperbole...after Payton finishes explaining that they took a runner because it offered value...nothing about him being a potential starter...Cecil Lammey can't wait to twist his words, saying starting at 2:47..."That sounds like a starter". No it doesn't, it sounds like a guy who can compete to be part of a running back by committee. Starters are guys who can stay on the field all three downs. What's especially funny about this is that they just did another podcast in which they speculate that Blake Watson might be the starter. Among the traits they cite...his blocking...from a 195 pound RB. They think he replaces Perine in that regard...who was PFF's 4th highest rated pass blocker among all RBs last year.
    Ugh.
    Back to Mason, who then says at 2:50, "Not only that, he speaks obviously of first and second down, not third down, so you're talking about an every down runner...". WTF??? So since he's NOT talking about third down, that means he's talking about an "every down runner"??? Do you know how many downs there are in football dude?
    Seconds later...Mason prattles on....now talking about Jaleel McLaughlin's rookie year in 2021...confusing him with Javonte Williams. Cecil Lammey chimes in with how he should have been better coming off a major knee injury & then set us up for dropping Terrell Davis' name, explaining why he argues with him about the importance of vision vs. footwork. Wrap your mind around the arrogance here...he's arguing with TERRELL DAVIS about what is important for a running back. Mind blowing...
    95% of the stuff this pair says has to be filtered & compared to what Payton or whoever they are quoting actually said, because they like to exaggerate, extrapolate things that aren't there & create unnecessary buzz to get the hype train moving. Basically they just make up nonsense because It's all about the traffic, the clicks, likes, follows & comments...in other words ad revenue.
    You learn very little when listening to this podcast.
