Wish I could put my gaming computer in the Costco freezer during the summer. Any good back packing trips you recommend in SoCal besides the Angeles Forest?
Good job with this. I'm on the fence with this. When my current breaks down I might go for it. I'm in SoCal too but in the mountains so it's warmth in camp on a backpacking trip and hiking well below freezing. Those pit zips, despite the issue you mentioned, are a pretty cool feature. Thumb holes are unique but if I'm hiking with down I'm wearing gloves. Love the dropped hem. And the price. Damn. For 800+ fill, at that weight, and some protection from wetting out? That's some real bang for the buck.
