I had the privilege of meeting Fr David when before ordination he worked in Graiguecullen parish here in the extreme Southern corner of Laois. This great video continues his inspiration of God's presence in my life. It is very appropriate that I would chance to find this in the same week that our Parish Priest Fr John Dunphy conducted a very helpful retreat for "Evergreens" (translaiton = auld people) . Catholic Faith is the key to life, thank God and Fr Vard's family for this young priest.

sorry dear you are wrong WE ARE ROYAL PRIESTHOOD...the old covenant of the order of levitical priests are put on the cross and we are now THE new order of priesthood.(1 peter 2:9)..God ordered the levitical priesthood in OT but Jesus the High Priest, our advocate belonged to the order of Melchizedek (Hebrews)

I watched Fr David on the Tommy Tiernan show last night. Despite Tiernans disgusting lack of respect( sure you can get the ride without being married) Fr Vard conducted himself beautifully,. He would encourage vocations. Such a lovely young man and priest

Fr David is very well spoken. Life as a priest is much different than 30 years ago I hear. Bishops are more conscious of offering support of the individual priests. Diocese priests gather and share support more than in the past. The average catholic look at their priests much differently. They are more supportive and appreciative.

@Ethan Aaron nothing wrong just that we Christians have stopped fighting our battles, doing our spiritual warfare and we are increasingly dependent on priests and pastors and the like to do our battles..which isnt necessary. Christ told.."I shall never cast out anyone who comes to me" .

Whoever u r please read the Bible it changed my life i was a rcc for 34 years I believed on the Lord Jesus Christ n was saved from my RCC life n the the life Christ taught me is completely a different vibe obeying the Bible is my life no one can do that RCC teaches that we cannot follow the Bible it's impossible. But I know personally that Bible teaches " I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me " yes Paul too says I walk looking to Christ not at others this is spiritual journey that we undertake wen we accept Christ we have to give away our human nature and we have to obey God's will not ourselves that's y we have to be in prayer every time asking God n seeking his will in everything I we do it's a different decision not a natural one but a spiritual one seek God n all will follow u

After the sex abuse scandal, I can’t take any priest seriously. It’s not only the abuse itself, it’s the fact no one’s doing anything. Catholicism shouldn’t be comfortable. Right now everyone’s too comfortable.
Priest are just human..thats why we pray for them..its same you and me we committed sin..lets not condemn them instead pray for them
