Enjoy it! - It looks perfect for riding to work specially on winter while using disc brakes.

I still have mine. It has some sleek road slicks on it and has done many miles on the Zwift indoor trainer. Only service I have needed is new brake pads.

I was about to get one, but as soon as I checked the current price $549, I thought mm I might wait a little considering you got it on $449 same supplier!. Any case, nice video! ,

+William Alexander One of these days I will be making a second impressions video as I have done about 715ks on it. One or two minor niggles but *spoilers* I am still very happy with 'Neddie' as I call it.
Not sure if BikeBarn will bring back that price, but for me personally, I would be happying paying $550 for one. The nearest competition is around $650 last time I checked.

Thanks for the review - I cant decide on the crossway 100 and this. Might go for this one as the only major diff is the cable vs hydraulic brakes, weight of frame is still the same. The sound on your video is not all that great.

+Dave P The cable brakes on this one are excellent. They are progressive and more than strong enough. I have a long steep hill on the way home and after a couple of runs as the disk bed in they have become great. I have also ridden in the rain and they dont fade.
I think hydraulic would be overkill now that I know how effective the mechanical ones are.
I will make a Second Impressions video at some point but I will give you my niggles.
      bad)
The handlebars creek - can be fixed by making tightening up the bolts.
The crank creeks - This I will get looked at when I have my free service, it is mildly irritating for me.
      good)
Pretty much everything else. It goes well I have beaten my personal bests compared to the old mountain bike. Gears and breaks work well.
      Preference)
First gear is a little hard for my taste. My legs are used to being able to grind up any hill at grandpa speeds on the old mountain bike. I am still deciding if I will get a smaller front cog or just man up a little more. Its only an issue when you are really pooped and you have a very steep hill.
So yes, its not perfect but I am still happy with my purchase.
Oh and yes, the sound is bad as it was recorded on my iPad and I mumble a lot.

+javawocky -- Thanks for the Intel, I took an MD for a test ride - yep you are right about the seat - I'm sold, getting one next month, hade enough of my Marin Stinsion which I've had for 12 years. There was only a small patch on your vid where you are talking about the seat that you must have covered the mic or something - All good
