Lizzy Musi, who rose to national fame on "Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings." Lizzy departed this world on June 27, surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her own home. She was just 33 years old.
Her father, Pat Musi, shared the heartbreaking news in a post on Facebook: "Surrounded by her family, in the comfort of her own home, Lizzy was called to heaven at 11:25pm tonight. Thank you for all the prayers and support throughout her battle. At this time, the family would like to have time to process, grieve, and make arrangements in peace. We will give an update as soon as we have information to share."
Lizzy bravely revealed her diagnosis of triple negative stage 4 breast cancer on Instagram in April 2023. She wrote: "Hey Everyone, I haven’t been able to have much time to post due to an unexpected life change. A few days ago I have been diagnosed with Triple Negative Stage 4 Breast Cancer that has moved to my lymph nodes to my liver. I have a rough journey ahead of me. I appreciate everyone’s messages and calls."
According to the American Cancer Society, triple-negative breast cancer is an aggressive form of invasive breast cancer that tends to grow and spread faster. Unfortunately, it has fewer treatment options available, leading to more challenging prognoses for patients.
Lizzy's journey on "Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings" began in 2018, where she raced alongside her father, an eight-time PDRA Pro Street World Champion who runs Pat Musi Racing Engines. Lizzy quickly became a beloved figure among viewers and maintained a loyal following throughout her career.
