Her sudden death was announced by her father, Pat Musi, on social media. The post stated, "Surrounded by her family, in the comfort of her own home, Lizzy was called to heaven." The family requested privacy to grieve and make arrangements.
As time has passed, fans have wondered if there will be a public memorial service where they can pay their respects. While the memorial service for Lizzy will not be open to the public, it will be broadcasted live so that fans can join in honoring her life. The service will be live-streamed on July 2, 2024, starting at 2 p.m. EST. Fans can watch the broadcast on the website of Cavin Cook Funeral Home and Crematory in Mooresville, N.C. Geeze--- I'm so sad for Lizzy and her family, friends, co-racers and her fans. I came here to wish her the very best. I have Cancer also just recently diagnosed. 1 treatment done, the next is Wednesday and then every Wednesday for the rest of them. Geeze so sad she didn't make it. Well, if it's any consolation--- she IS with Jesus and those whom have gone HOME before her. God's Blessings, Grace and Care to everyone. May Lizzy rest in loving peace always! Awe men!
