Absolutely, how a filmmaker handles their criticism, rejection, and out-right failure is quite possibly the defining factor in a successful filmmaker, in my opinion. "You will fuck up", at every stage and every age. If you're passion survives all the battering it'll get then you know you're in the right business! Good luck to all of the future filmmakers!
