Shalani Placencia also known as Shalani Dante born and raised in Waianae, Oahu. Shalani Dante is a Hawaiian, Filipino, Russian Trans woman. her work occupation is a Peer Navigator/ case worker at Hawaii Health and Harm Reduction Center. She also does hair and makeup along with female Impersonation (Drag Show). Shalani got into the art of female impersonation from the age of 16. She has been in numerous drag shows here in Oahu, including Gender Bender Lip Gloss Review, Paper Dolls and Viva Tropicana to name a few. From an early age of watching pageants and shows Dante got the bug to enter the pageant world. She has won multiple titles here in Hawaii and is currently the reigning Aloha State Continental which she won the prelim to head to the main pageant in Chicago Ms. Continental Pageant and placed 12 out of 30 contestants.
