It's not only haoles that act this way. I'm from Hawaii and live in Vegas now. Same same over here. People from all around the world(including Hawaii) use Vegas as a garbage can then bag out! They drive crazy, use whatever's, take what they want etc. It's the way the world is with lack of respect for others. It's not just Hawaii and it's not just haoles.

Thank you for this! I saw a woman touching a sea turtle while she was snorkeling last time I was on the Big Island. I told her not to do that and she got all mad at me. Ugh. That chick who touched the critically endangered monk seal, I hope she got the $50,000 fine. I volunteer at a local wildlife rescue here in Los Angeles and we rescue seals and sea lions. They are very cute but very dangerous. You do not want to get bitten by one of them. Look up seal finger. Please, people, respect the wildlife. They are not your pets.
