- Part 1: Zones 1-5
Part 2: • Supernova - Ultra-hard...
Here it is. It's another stupidly hard VVVVVV level that I spent way too much time on that very few people will play and only two people will ever beat. The first couple of zones are relatively tame, but by 3 and beyond things ramp up and keep ramping up until there are checkpoints that can take even the most skilled players hours to beat.
In addition to stepping up the difficulty, I used custom music, graphics, and some sound effects to spice it up a little. Particular monitors placed throughout will identify the source and title of the music playing. Also, there is a bit more of a narrative in this level, with several cutscenes of dialogue throughout.
The first two zones are unedited, but after that all deaths are edited out for viewing convenience. The raw playthrough is well over 10 hours long. Zones 1-4 were pretty smooth, being finished in well under an hour. Zone 5 took a bit longer than all of that combined. I think Zone 5 is the point where it surpasses much of the final area's difficulty of the original Nova.
One last thing. I put in a stupid easter egg at the beginning if you go back to the first monitor after reaching the 4th checkpoint. I show it off here.
Enjoy. - Hry
I remember finding your channel back when you did the Super Mario Bros coinless run, and it's been awesome seeing you continue to make and then run these stupidly hard levels. The dialogue was funny and well-written, and I was curious why you went back to the beginning after you got the forth checkpoint and then I read the description. So on that note, I really appreciate how much you explain in the description. Thanks for the awesome video! I have no idea how you enjoy playing these INSANELY hard levels but it's amazing to see.
amazing stuff, looking forward to seeing more

Diving from the game Waterworld on SNES.
hey how did you made animated textures? Im making my own VVVVVV level and want to know how to make it
The sprite or background tile will have transparent parts and the warping background will show through to create the effect.
@@NotEntirelySure THANKS MAN(insane iq)
@@NotEntirelySure How to make the game ignore the warping background so that the player can exit from the side but still with the warp animation BG? (Like in Inferno where you can move left into the practice room, even though there's horizontal warping)
@@convindix9638 Stick a warp line out of the way (like in the corner) and it'll disable the warping effect for the room.
@@NotEntirelySure Thanks!
