I can't believe this! Mariah is doing so much better now than few year ago. The main thing - she restored her midtones and this allows her to put all stuff in her songs together. Finally, this happened. She is not there where she was in early 1990s, but she is amazing and articulate her voice the way it was back then. It is again sounds like a magic river for me.

I don't think she lost her voice ever. I just think that she got lazy, then got out of practice in return. Now, she's singing again, and getting better. Let's hope this escalates continuously because this is the Mariah that I know and love.

simply heavenly .... mariah had a bad start in his tour every day but this much better. this means that the nights spent at the shows served as a vocal stimulus. if she stops doing lipsync more trained his voice is, remember that the vocal chords are muscles then the more she train these muscles more easily she has her voice back.
mariah please never stop singing, here proved that you can still sing wonderfully. God gave you that voice that looks like it came from heaven, guard this beautiful gift that the Lord gave you, take care of your voice, we love you so much, the music without your voice is not the same thing. God bless you greatly amen.

Enjoying her performances is what I want, but I just can't enjoy them because I don't feel them at all. I love Mariah, but I love live singing too, and she almost never delivers a complete live performance nowadays. I look for her live performances hoping they are actually "live" but I always feel so desappointed after watching them.

The tour in Beijing was wise. Singing 13 post-butterfly songs out of 18songs, she can handle most of these songs which are in her comfort zone

She's getting older so her voice will get a little deeper every singer goes through it but she is picking herself back up if you all really love her then support her and if you know you gone be saying shitty stuff then don't click on her video.

Yes, it is VERY obvious there are prerecorded tracks playing during the chorus. First off, she doesn't have the power and agility at this time to hit those notes, and that's not to say she won't be able again one day. It's just clear that her voice isn't in a good place at the moment.
Calvin Robinson you should see her latest performances, somehow she's getting better and better. FINALLY she's exercising (so she's not out of breath anymore) and probably practicing her vocals.
I watched or listened to a few on CZcams, and I must say, some are coming across as possible prerecorded tracks. On some of the songs, she sounds as though she took a time machine back some years vocally, and we all know that's not the case.

She is the only star who is trying to deceive so badly that she still has the same voice or even better than in her vocal prime time. She sounds breathy and exhausted... I guess it might be due to her extreme dance routines.

Nope. Wrong, there is no live prerecorded. There is LIVE and straight from the record. Only the second chorus is a lower key of the original, but the rest is live. Even the first chorus, which she generally lips, is live here. In the last "I can't give anymore" of the first chorus her vocie cracks. The scale she does before the last chorus is great and live and the last adlibs are also great and live. I think people are too damn critical of Mariah and worse of all, the criticism is not objective and constructive but full of anger and scorn. That is what I hate.

I know she is going through a lot and I am sorry to hear that. Professionals leave all the crap behind and try... she seems drunk and unable to sing
