- Have you ever wanted to Fully Build a Honda B Series motor? Well... this is exactly how I learned to build my Fully Built Turbo LS VTEC Engine. Building this LS VTEC motor was a long and educational process. Learning and researching all of the steps to complete this Honda B Series engine build was a lot of work, but extremely rewarding. The Turbo Civic absolutely rips and is capable of easily taking down Mustangs, Camaros, and most other tuner cars on the street including Evo's, and STI's. This custom DIY Honda engine build was fun, challenging, and fast.

Can’t stress enough the importance of watching and helping others with more experience in order to get your own experience. I’ve been doing all my own work on all my cars for over 20 years. Around 1999-2000 I started hanging out with people who were building Honda’s and learned a ton. I’ve owned my Integra almost 20 years now and it has never been to a mechanic for anything, not once. I’ve pulled motors, dropped transmissions and everything in between. I learned from helping, forums, and a huge thing has been factory service manuals, which for Honda’s are quite good. And of course nowadays CZcams itself is also invaluable.
While I didn't learn anything new watching this, I appreciate you doing this. If people are willing to spend some time, videos like this can really help!

Nice ! I built mine just with CZcams ,google, and money 💰. A lot of reading was involved and I also purchased a lot of tools that made the job easier. Lots and lots of research. I learned hands on and CZcams . Can’t be scared

Man I'm glad I came across your chanel... I've been lately looking up honda civic builds and I really want to k swap one. I never went to school for auto work and I just started off with watching CZcams I learned how to change my own oil, then progressed to changing my spark plugs and ignition coils , and brake pads and rotors , eventually I started diagnosing cel , and when my ek had a blown head gasket I removed the head and got the head resurfaced and put it all back together . Inspiring to see your knowledge and awesome eg hatch 👌🏾

@@boosted_john Fell in LOVE with a 2 rotor and seeing how they’ve performed and I wouldn’t mind the extra wrenching to get it to work lmao i know the notoriety associated with rotaries but that’s make me really want to get into it. So dream build is a rotary swap

I have the same hatch with a b16sir and also have a ls vetch same as yours on my garage floor gsr trans trying to boos that one my eg is a 92si Canadian model si blue original color hopefully soon I will put some vid on this channel of it, your vid was very helpful thanks 💯👍👍👍
Awesome video I’m planning on lsv turbo soon, I have the gsr head with an all stock motor to put into my del sol.. if you guys are super new my suggestion would also be join a Facebook group into your type of car.. I ask so many questions on the groups and get amazing help, definitely a great tool to have

I’m a senior in high school saving for an Acura Integra GSR. I currently have an RSX. I want to build a track focused integra. I was searching around at lsvtec engines just in case I went for an ls integra instead. What made you choose the lsvtec engine for your build? Thanks!

A way I learned almost everything I know to this day is CZcams I pulled out my motor 3 times already.
The first time I pulled it out was my b20 I took it off by parts you know head , trans then the block.
Then I assembled my lsvtec and I did it right the first time I can’t believe I did that.
Anyone can do it just need the proper tools.
Now i need to learn how to assemble the block will use your video as reference hopefully I get it right

You should make a video of your notebook and all your notes...would be a huge help. I recently got myself a 99 ex coupe with a stock full LS b18b1 and want to do a LSV turbo build.

I was kind of the same way...I am the only person in my family that is "hardcore" into Car Modding & working on cars and knowing a lot about cars!...I don't know how that happened...I too got more inspired w/ cars after taking Auto Shop in High School too...I almost went to Mechanics School to become ASE Certified BUT for some reason I went a different Life Path....BUT I wish people would use GOOGLE & Internet more since its right at your finger tips to learn about working on cars etc...I know I use to be in A LOT of Car Forums learning how to do DIYs and stuff by myself vs. taking it to someone and paying the Labor Cost...Good for you for diving in and teaching yourself car shit!

People don't realize how important taking notes and planning is. I have pages in my phone's notes detailing everything I plan to do both my cars multiple years into the future. Even a preliminary plan for the drift car I don't own yet. As well as plans for my computer and driving sim setup.
Now you just gotta commit, execute and attain your goals 😏

i have an r18 on my civic lx coupe it’s stock af but man what should i start? i was an idiot... i misfired 1,2 ,4 i changed the ignition coils and spark plugs and the engine light went away... i think while just trying be fast with it i got a coolant leak and it overheats bad... my 02 sensor heats up bad and had to disconnect iy

Airsoft brings back a lot. Used to drill the pistons to make them lighter and shorter gear ratios with a super strong motor to make it shoot instantly and very responsive lmao. And LIPO batteries

Good tips!! When I was growing up(13-17 years old) I use to hang out in my brother in laws garage and would just watch him wrench and I would ask questions. When it was my time to swap my motor I feel like I had done it hundred of times by then. All through watching

You dont need to be a mechanic, and you dont need to go to school to build a fast honda, you guys gotta understand that these motors are stupid easy to work on, also that they've been around for a long time to the point where you can learn how to do mostly everything on a honda motor with a simple Google search
