I've loved watching this complex go up. I used to watch it from Ashton Asoke, now from The Esse Asoke. It's fun to see so much progress so quickly on such a massive scale.
Thanks for best and great video. 🙏🙏 I am waiting this video so while looking update One Bangkok Mega projects under contruction. And I want to see Signature Tower.
Not much traffic. There are great MRT, BTS, Boats in the near etc. how you can travel in Bangkok. You only need a car if you want drive to the countryside. If you want to travel in a car in bangkok you are stupid and/or have to much time because of traffic jams etc.
@@BadboyMax1986 I am not in Bangkok now. Was there 2 months ago. And in the rush hour the streets are packed, the Sky Train are packed and the metro was somewhat packed in the rush hours. With 60 000 more people so close to the Sukhumvit area, it will be awful 18 out of 24 hour a day. Simple as that. I know that few falang(foreigners) will drive a car in the central part of Bangkok, where you often can walk faster than the traffic in the jam packed streets. But there are plenty of others that drive and have to drive a car, taxi, bus, etc. I drive my own car all over Thailand, but never in the central part of Bangkok.
Probably the most telling thing about Bangkok is that it is in a constant state of flux. Things change so fast. One year Washington Square is gone, only to be replaced by the Dino Park...???, which is now EMSphere. ONE Bangkok = no more Lumpinee Stadium (sigh). Can't wait to see the changes when we get there in a couple of weeks! Jaroen; thanks for tracking the ever changing face of KrungThep!!
Before it was the night market, this site was an army barracks. Soldiers were marching around as recently as the early 2000s, with a huge tank sitting across the fence from Wittayu road.
Staying at Crowne Plaza in Feb 21 and it had a great view to the construction site. Also spoke to one of the construction site managers when we had a walk along Rama 4. Looking pretty good
What an awesome video, the project is quite huge. Also that you met Michele Ponte on livestream too it is quite awesome.I do know Michele for years from CZcams.Talking about One Bangkok project i think 60000 people is quite nice number, maybe it would be more.
Thank you Jeroen, that was a long-awaited update. I like that you went the extra mile to give us views of the project from many angles -- it's also a good exercise for you haha! I'm curious about the shopping mall!! Another shopping mall in Bangkok, wow, is that news or a normal thing to happen?! It's fascinating! Thanks again and ride safely (yep, keep that helmet)!
I dont understand, why not the richest people in Thailand live before between this two parks. This is the best location in Bangkok. The other great location is on the Bang Kachao Island. Why this two are the best location, because they are green and they are silent. Both are not so much to find in the city of bangkok, in this central locations.
Do you think that if Thailand escapes the middle income trap of the World Bank gdp per capita 12500$ Thailand will have a low cost of living or will the cost of living increase with growth?
TQ.4 the updated this project.but my personal idea I love to see greeny area must be better after poison air pollution.covering all over BKK.almost everyday.?? in BKK.I only like Benjakitti Park.where the trees can growing up without messy wires.Have a nice day.Sir.
That's right, along the main roads our government is going to take All the cable go underground. and some parts in Bangkok the cable have already gone underground. And it really makes the street view in Bangkok look much better.
I'm in Thailand right now, for 8th time now. I must say, I love Bangkok, but this time I'm extremely disappointed, it's much, much dirty as before, it's incredibly smelly, the floor is black and sticky everywhere, also Sukhumvit area, rats on the side walk in the middle of the day, of course also in the night. My stomach pains just thinking of that. I hate that feeling, , because I love Thailand so much. I don't know what happened. Do somebody know why , is there a logical explanation?
Rats have always been around. But I agree, the air should be cleaned up. Its very harmful to everyone's health, and it wouldn't be too difficult to fix this issue.
This whole complex is an aberation. Towers of cement and steel, adding to the heat of the city, to replace the lovely atmospheric night market. This yet another nod to the "unusually wealthy" who love high rise living at sky high prices. All that steel and cement means huge amounts of money will be aquandered on air conditioning; how is that possible in the age of rapid climate change, all the more so as Bkk is one of the cities sinking ......so sad!
With the world burning down its nice to see Thailand just grow and experience stability
I came for the drone footage. Was not disappointed. Amazing. More drone footage, please 🙏

soon itt will be world class city nice
Thailand is going backwards.....
60,000 people is like a middle size town in Thailand. How much traffic will it create 😮

@@BadboyMax1986 And it will be much worse traffic jam, and over crowded on the BTS and MRT as well due to this complex.
@@Oggiwara1 No Nobody will drive with the car and the BTS and MRT are not over crowded?
You are in Bangkok???

I've walked past it a few times.
Never noticed how each building seems to block the view of another.
Designed by Stevie Wonder.
Appreciate the effort to get all those different angles/views of the project!
It’s growing so fast. Can remember when there was a nightmarket at that place 10 years ago
So, no more night market?
No more "Bangkok Night Bazaar", but there's still plenty of other night markets operating in many other locations.

In my opinion this new BKK governor is not much progressive as he claimed he is.
Work on what? Govt intent on destroying the Economy 😭

A lot of jobs was created, maybe you can find employment for 30,000 people involved.
This project takes almost 10 years to complete
