After the 28th my response was to give several copies of Titanfall 2 to some streamer friends of mine and get them to play it both on their own, and with me on stream. Best way to make a titanfall 3 happen is keep making Titanfall 2 explode until those in charge of green lighting projects can't ignore the prospect of a titanfall 3

I'm fairly new to titanfall and apex but I've been saying this since I've started seeing people complain about how respawn is just giving us crumbs or whatever. The simple fact that they're bringing weekly updates to a 7 year old game that has been dormant for years should be reason enough to believe that something big is on the horizon. I have no clue what that thing could be (most likely tf3) but I feel like it really says something that titanfall 2 is actually getting updates again.
I expected nothing. I am a Half Life fan before a TF fan and we know very well to never get excited until we see what we want happening before our eyes.

@@ender_z4nd3r83 I'm more a fan of the franchise than any single game in it. A lot of people don't count Half Life Alyx since it's VR and they didn't have access but imo that is the closest thing to half life 3 we have and it's only 3 years old.

There is one last chance to see something Titanfall this year. The Game Awards on December 7th. Remember the reveal and later success of Armored Core 6? Perhaps Respawn might be looking to do the same thing, or something inspired by what Fromsoftware did.

I just finished TF2 this evening. I liked a LOT about it but I also wish it had a more in-depth single-player campaign and didn't feel like a campaign made with arena shooter assets. I HATED how the guns were just random and mostly all the same. I like to set up my load out how I want it not just whats on the floor and while there was a good amount of exploration it still felt like an "on-the-rails" shooter. That said I loved the movement and fluidity and I loved the interplay of being in and out of BT. I think its a solid game that could be SO much more if part 3 is done right.
Hey at least there were new frontier defence maps, well technically old unused maps that were finished and published I think on the anniversary event. But still, two new maps for frontier defence
2:05 4 million units sold at $60 each is actually 240 million but that’s still 6 million units fewer than the original title…
Those 4 million units were long ago, in this 6 years after those numbers were revealed Titanfall 2 has probably sold at least a million copies

Well think about it like this, you mentioned that the previous season for Apex was called Resurrection. And it did that, Titanfall is being talked about and Titanfall 2 is being played a lot more because they revived the game.
The current season for Apex is called Ignite. You don't think that the resurrection of Titanfall Ignited something? Like the whole player base wanting for more Titanfall related content, or the ignition of another game?
Apex Legends is Respawn's baby, the amount of money they make from that game is completely crazy. Not only that, but Titans in that universe are scarce and I think they're decommissioned. Look at Valkyries Stories from the Outlands, you'll see some good info on there.
They wouldn't make another Titanfall without finding a way to reintroduce Titans back into the lore or when Apex dies down a bit. They've just IGNITED the player base with this new season, with Titanfall related content and such. Maybe from that we'll get some more information but who knows. I know for a fact that they're doing something behind the scenes, the blatant hints in game, the trailers, the revived game, they all play a part in something. Don't give up your hopes just yet...

Another thing I want to see - Apex Wise - Is Cooper as a playable legend.
1. He got the invite
2. Potential interactions with characters like Ash and Valk would be insane
3. A bunch of his kit is already in the game, it's not like it would be hard to do. Wallrun passive, Phase shift ability, Summon a titan to do a core ability as an ult.
Lots of potential with these hints and leaks. To say "We'll release when the time is right" at a time like this is honestly delusional

I think this is the healthiest way to think about this whole situation, I believe titanfall 3 can come some time in the future, but Im not going to be thinking about it all the time, and if titanfall 3 is not made I wont care, I just will be happy titanfall 2 happened and will remember all the good times I had playing it, it will be sad seeing all that gone, yes, but this is fucking life and life is hard, dont let your life get affected by a game, you are better than that

here's my very logical take of the whole situation (real, im not schizophrenic i swear)
EA has been funding the development of titanfall 3 since the failure of battlefield 2042 (EA needs a shooter to compete with activision, and it needs to be transformative enough to not feel like the same game )
Respawn most likely were going to release Titanfall 3 on the titanfall 2 anniversary (alot was pointing to us getting our proverbial cake on the 7th anniversary of our beloved)
EA seeing Mw3 remake around the corner most likely pulled Respawn by the balls to delay the relase to avoid another titanfall2 situation (It was previously confirmed that the release date of titanfall 2 was on Respawn entirely, with EA telling them to hold off on release until cod and battlefield hype died down)
in conclusion, titanfall 3 will most likely release very soon, Mw3 isnt looking too hot according to alot of first impressions and reviews, so soon part of the community will try seek a similar game, Destiny 2 is also in a rough spot currently with alot of players trying to find another game, The time vince talked about is coming very very soon

titanfal 2 is the only game where i can play the campaign more than once, currently ive played it like 6 times since the game's release
Ive played it 20+ times, i recommend banging your head on walls to explore where your not allowed, playing titanless (theres two boss sections that are unbeatable at least from my hundreds of hours), also just like finding all the major easter eggs and finding all the extra gun spots n everything :)

look at what the dev team has been allocated to work on look at new hire listing and see if there has been enough time for a dev team to put a game together since the last project they had worked on or if they have even wrapped up with it. respawn just finished SWJS this year and will probably be supporting the after launch cycle and will take time for them too even get a game ready for announcement. as for the geforce now leaks it could be a place holder as the copy right is likely already been made for the game and during meetings they may have discussed the possibilities of the title coming to the platform once it was made available.

As a major fan of Titanfall and its counterpart, apex legends, it's safe to say that if a Titanfall 3 was to be confirmed I would be one of the many people who would be jumping for joy for its return.
Respawn chose and insisted on the release date, EA tried to talk them out of it but respawn doesn't listened and given that respawn wasn't owned by EA at that time there were not that much EA could do without risking future cooperation
Don't lie, even if EA weren't the owners they invested all the money and also they were the publishers, do you know who chooses the release date? Exactly, the publishers

@@enteplays3662 ok I just read the article, and yes it was Respawn, BUT, EA still had a lot of fault, said also by Jason (not direct in the article) Battlefield 1 was going to release in september but they had to delayed It, and instead of delaying it to later december they delayed it to a week before Titanfall 2, also Respawn could not move the release because they had a lot of marketing deals, so EA still has a lot of fault, maybe next time research about the whole story
@@ender_z4nd3r83 i never said that EA has no fault in the situation, but the initial mistake with the release date was made by respawn who wanted to compete with CoD. And there is another question that should be asked. Was it really Battlefields release that doomed TF2? Lets be honest Titanfall is targeted at a similar Playerbase like CoD, fast pased run and gun games on small maps, espeacially back in 2016 where CoD also had Wallrun and a futuristic setting. Battlefield on the other side atracted players that prefered a slower, little bit more tactical playstile, on large maps with many players and tons of diffrent vehicles. And it was set in WW1 which is the absolute opposite of TF2 and CoD infinit warfare. The targeted audience was not the same audience that TF2 targeted simple said.
By competing with CoD, a well established IP compared to Titanfall, which had only one game at the time that was furthermore a exclusive, Titanfall 2 was doomed to fail even though it was the fundamentally better game.

Surprised you didnt mention how EA took over respawn and many of the devs left long ago when they sold out due to corruption of monopolization and the dark agenda they have along with all the other mega corps...
EA added RIGGED GUNFIGHTS in their games and change many different mechanics to lessen the skill gap in games.
They rig every engagement, just like activision... they try to create the best illusion of competition they can... except its BLATANT and not hidden in the slightest like it used to be...
Money only leads you to puppets in power positions, not the PUPPET MASTERS who control every mega corporation under the sun!!
I think it was all hyped about the START of the dev of TF|3 but they realized halfway through that they couldn't just say that so...yeah

Respawn didn't need to create a new game from the ground up; just a couple of new maps are enough to keep the community active for at least one more year. It was imposible to get TF3 in 2023, we were waiting for an official announcement. I will continue playing regardless all of this until we get what we want or the game dies

The reason y I love titanfall even tho I never played the first one it was the story I felt really bad about BT and the multiplayer was fun as he'll having titans out helping us fight while u just run around fighting other pilots and having the titan attack with u or jumping in it to fight others it was fun as hell

When the CEO of Respawn said it "wasn't the right time" for Titanfall 3, he really means they're not allowed to. See, when Titanfall 2 was ready, EA had it released in the week between battlefield 1 and infinite warfare, to throw a "future fps" contender in the ring to steal a couple extra Christmas dollars from Activision. Then, because their game wasn't selling nearly as well as they needed it to, EA bought out the company they so kindly sacrificed and put them to work on Apex Legends. Titanfall 3 will not happen until the playerbase leaves it behind, proving that EA needs to approve a new moneymaker project

Actually, right now would see a repeat of Titanfall 2's predicament thanks to the recently released Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon. And with the drama revolving around the DDoS attacks just clearing up and the playerbase still returning, I'm not surprised that TF3 hasn't been announced.

@NOVELL1 your numbers are super off, titan fall 2 didn't make 4 million dollars, they sold 4 million copies which is around 240 million dollars. it is considered a failure still because Battlefield 1 came out before it and sold 15 million copies, and Call of Duty Advance Warfare came out the next week selling 21 million copies. all three games are triple-A titles that were supposed to produce equally competitive amounts of copies. apex I believe was around 8 million copies if your number of 210 million is correct for its first year. because Apex sold cheaper at 30 bucks instead of the 60. Also, the reason Apex was considered a success even with low copies, in the beginning, is because of micro-transactions. I'm pretty sure they have already made a couple billion at this point of micro-transactions.
