Who else just randomly started watching Eurovision Song Contest and now it’s just an every day thing?
Me one of my friends back in 2018 told my music teacher if he watched Eurovision and he said yes.When I went back home I searched it and found out what is it.I watched the final and loved it!From that day Eurovision is on my everyday life!I am so happy that I know Eurovision🥰

It's happened to me since 2013. I found it by chance after searching a song I heard from The Sims 3... Is it strange? Yes, it is! Is it so random?! Totally. But thanks to that I can't wait every May to watch Eurovision haha

I think I prefer this staging with just the one guy on stage instead of the weird dream ballet from Eurovision. I could do without the acrobatics since it upstages her a bit, but him being her fantasy man just popping up and then dancing around her is a good concept.
It's kind of a shock but I actually love this performance and prefer it than the Eurovision version. It would've been my qualifier if it was this staging, the staging just felt a lot for filled compared to the other one even though the dancer was kinda overshadowing her
I think both versions were great but I think they chose the other version because as you said the dancer is overshadowing her. And in the eurovision version they’re performing a love triangle the 3 backup dancers

I think they didn't do because so many comments about the national final performance talking about the dancer overshadowing her
I think they didn't do as well in the actual show because while they had a dance routine more clearly tell the story, they weren't in focus enough

I personally preferred the Dora performance than the Turin one, except she should have sun the last part in Croatian.
To be fair, the Turin performance was ruined by that sun blocking the enchanted forest background that would uplifted her performance.
I think that the sun ruined some performances, but let's be honest: who the heck votes just if the sun is well-used or not?

this is a live on tape! the live on tapes were sent to the people at turin for them to test the mechanics and staging stuff to make sure it works the way the delegation wants it- this is also where the stand-in rehearsals come in. the stand ins perform the song and choreo with the staging and that is then sent back to the delegations so then they can see if everything looks right etc

Most countries just used their NF Settings and recorded them after the show… Germany did the same

Yep, another NF rehearsal video as live on tape. Most countries weren't very creative this year.

The Dutch broadcaster does not want to publish the live on tape video because they want the performance on the Eurovision stage to be remembered with the song.
Maybe it's the same with Moldova, but they also revamped their song, maybe they don't want to publish the old version again.

@@byJannik shame nonetheless ☹️. seeing how much the staging, concept and vocal performances evolve in the run up to the competition is why I love the live on tapes. And will most likely miss them next year when covid is less of a threat to the competition.

It started with Semi final 1 running order it’s mainly that except unless they didn’t want to show their live on tape
