Can we just take a moment to appreciate the editors, to put all the different sets and shots together to make it look like in one whole location. Its very impressive the skill that goes into it

Making it look like one location is actually very little to do with the editors by that point, their job is to assemble the shots together with the director for the most emotional impact and clarity of the action in the sequence. It's mostly all the planning that comes before them from the rest of the production team that makes sure it's all seamless, from the art department making cliff set pieces to match the real cliffs on location, stunt, art, lighting and construction building a water tank that simulates the look of the ocean (albeit with a little creative license), well planned camera angles to hide stunt doubles and other trickery, and so on. It's a huge combined effort between lots of departments.
After the editor has assembled the scene, a colour grader will also go through it to make sure the colour matches from shot to shot. You might also have some vfx work in the mix, for example to remove things like wires or anything else that shouldn't be in a shot. And of course you can't forget the sound design that brings everything together at the end.
Not to say editors don't deserve appreciation of course, but there's a lot more to it.

@@StiofanMurdock Like Janine does. Wish they'd killed her off, I can't stand the way Charlie Brooks plays the character. Over acting and over expressing every word, pulling weird faces every time she speaks. Maybe they'll send Janine to prison and she'll get bumped off in there. One can only hope!

Itâs been such a journey with Mick. Danny did a great job of bringing the character to life

Great acting from all 3 here Mick is iconic and show wont be the same without him in many ways and as wicked as her Character janine is you cant help but want to see more from her acting at its finest hats off to all the crew who work so hard behind the scenes to make these stunts filmed on location so realistic i hope that mick can somehow be brought back to the show again in the near future and its not the last we have seen of him he has got such great chemistry on screen with linda

It's so nice to see the people behind the characters , and the behind the scenes crew who bring us the show . So much hard work . I once worked as an extra for the ,NFTS at Beaconsfield . A day's shooting translated to about three minutes on screen .

If Danny Dyer does comes back, one possible storyline could go like this.
Mick gets washed out to sea and loses consciousness. A foreign fishing vessel picks him up but he can't remember who he is and is unable to speak. He begins another life abroad and then starts getting flashbacks of his life with Linda. He tracks her down and then realises she is truly the love of his life.
He's not comming back because his contract is finished

When I heard Danny Dyer was going to be in Eastensers 9 years ago I eyerolled, but honestly he has been one of my favourite characters ever in the show. Him and Kellie were great together.

Like how it's left us in an ambitious place. They probably won't find the body, so he'll have possibility of being washed up on shore with too much fluid causing him temporary brain damage then when he wants to come back it'll be his full circle moment.
