    Great job Tea! Your outfits are beautiful on you and kudos for knowing what definitely doesn’t work for you! That outfit was beautiful for your daughter too! She is gorgeous! 🥰. Congratulations on another successful season of the challenge, you ladies really out did yourselves!

  • @shakira_in_stitches1541

    Great collection. I love to see the s9550 in a different variation, so I can decide which will work for me👍🏽

    I love your matching sets, Tea! The black florals are probably my favourites, but the white and pink combo is also gorgeous 😍

    Wow those are lovely pieces and bonus points for making a collection 🤩🥳. Thanks for the tips on the 9550 top, it’s one I would like to tackle early-summer.

    Thanks for reviewing 9550, I was thinking it over, how it would lengthen, since I’m not into crop tops either, but really liked the shapes. Thanks again. Nice little collection!

      After I lengthened it by two inches my daughter was able to either tuck the top into her skirt or leave it out of the skirt and the midsection would only be seen by 1/2" she likes it

    I love your entire Mother’s Day collection! You and your daughter look beautiful in your matching tops and skirts. I never would have guessed that the Mimi G skirt had three panels. Thanks for the review. We had another great maxi dress year!

      Thank you! Yes, that skirt is absolutely gorgeous! I love this fabric so much! Thought about making a top with it, but I don't know if it'll look good. 🤔

      @@crumpetsteaandsewing It would be a beautiful top with sheer or Swiss dot sleeves. I would like a sleeveless wrap top even

    I hope you had a Happy Mother's Day to you as well! I just purchased the Mimi G pattern on Saturday. Thanks so much for the tip on cutting the top as is, eliminating the elastic and then sewing the hem. I love the top but am not crazy about the idea of having my midriff showing!

    Lovely makes. Giggled to myself with your comments about crepe. I have a very love hate relationship with rayon. Mostly hate it. Thanks for the review

    Great review! I sent you a DM on IG but I figured I would ask in the comments incase someone else has the same queation. The back of the pattern says that you need 60" fabric. Do I really need 60" Can I get away with 56 or 58?

    • @crumpetsteaandsewing
      @crumpetsteaandsewing  Před 2 lety +1

      Thank you for commenting and watching the video! So the pattern for the top is wide because it has long grown on sleeves, so you will need quite a bit of width for that. Also, the skirt flares at the lower end of the skirt. So depending on what size you choose, you would definitely need width for that. I think a 50 - 55" would work. But remember, you cut the skirt pattern out three times. So you will need approximately 3.5 to 4 yards of fabric for the skirt and top. Hope thus helps! Blessings!
