New ubox100v seem to come already with momentary button firmware
If you bought your kit with an AvaSpark RGB Led control module you do not need the separate Button adapter
button can go into the Led controller and
SW on the 5 pin connector goes to SW on the Ubox
Gaskets should go on the inside of the box for the motor and footpad connectors
*Premade JST wire harness no need to repin nearly as much/at all
*current footpad connector 3.3v and gnd are swapped from in the video one
*New Vesc express based CAN BUS bluetooth module (plug the bluetooth module into canbus not uart as shown in the video)
to connect, hit scan canbus button and connect to the ubox
*Improved Motor connector
*new metal mount should go like so
- screw (top)
- little washer
- big washer
- mount (bott0m)
Use locktight on mount screws

Sweet vid, keep it up. Did you have any issues ordering from Ava? Been thinking about getting one of the kits. Not a lot of company info on the site and limited payment options, so was a bit worried about ordering from them. I can see why they might want to remain a bit hidden however with the evil beagles on the hunt.

What kind of speeds at 85% duty cycle do you get with the 15s battery and the Hypercore?
I noticed that the motor controller only had the 3 big pins on, where do the 5 small pins on the connector go?
What do you mean by 5 pin?
The hall sensor motor connector is 6 pin and goes right into the 6 pins on the vesc

a stock fm i cut for a mini fender. a poor mans drop top fender
How do you mount the new metal bracket? I see it fits nicely around the 3 thread towers for the factory screws but the towers are too high and the screw heads are too small to secure it.
there should be washers the comes with the kit for the mounting bracket, i'm sorry if i missed including them, please email me your order number if you cant get ahold of some i can send some out to you.

be careful guys he’s creative but he’s steps for removing cables are off .. bms should be the first thing unplugged and the last thing re plugged .. so i clicked off when he skipped this step

I am the creator of the kit and would like to clarify the BMS connector order
The thing the breaks the FM BMS's on wrong connection order is drawing power through the balance wires
This video was made by Jay a member of the community which is why there are some corrections and updates in the pin comment.
If you have a correction you think needs addressed in the BMS connection order please let me know and I can put it in the pinned comment
