🥵 That heat brought out the FULL JAMAICAN ACCENT!! 😆😆 I ❤️ Merida but I only visit in Nov, Dec or Jan. It’s still warm during the day but bearable.
Thanks for talking about this without complaining for a whole vlog. People talk about Merida like they didn’t know where they were moving to. Great tips & tricks. 👍🏾

The heat is real in Merida, but not enough to keep me from being there. We may be back soon. Love the artwork! I’ve always wanted to attend a paint and sip.

Hi Monique, thank you for sharing your videos. They are so helpful. I appreciate you keeping it real! 3:23 I'm going to be there soon. I saw your video about your place and neighborhood. I'm looking to find a place that is walkable. What part of Merida are you in? And do you have a realtor that you recommend?

24 is freezing to me! Well, in my bedroom the small unit is 24 but the larger unit is always at 26. I find the ceiling fan pushes the hot air down so I don’t use it . The Galerías was hot to me the other day.

Ceiling fans have a switch. It reverses the direction of the air flow. It pulls hot air up. Look by the blades.

I'm so Loving the Hair hun. Thank you for your honesty on the AC situation and JPS, because I am using a fan and you nuh wah know my bill here. I am going to visit Merida just to go to that skating ring mall, it's beautiful. Jamaica has been very hot this week, it nuh normal here lattely either. As you mention being used to power outages, you had me laughing because I remember a couple times well I have been asked or in a conversation, if I would live my days in Jamaica and I said NOPE! Mexico is going to be home for me and dem basically had a Cardiac Arrest- I told them if I survived 50 years in Jamaica then I can survive the rest in Mexico. hahaha. Because Jamaica is not fi di weak in any way shape or form.

I enjoy your channel so much as a fellow Jamaican (second generation) lol you always give the real. What is the best way to get in contact with you if you’re open to it ? I am thinking about coming down in Nov with my munchkin, she’s around the same age as your daughter. We’re from Canada but I was thinking to snow bird it down there Nov-May to avoid the hell heat 😂 I love it but my girl can’t stand humidity . This video helps though with alternative option so ty!
