I see a lot of people be annoyed that Reigen stopped Mob from exploding in episode 11, but he was 100% right: every single time we've seen Mob explode before now, he has ended up MISERABLE for a while afterward due to self-loathing because he feels guilty when he hurts people, so him going 100% with "murderous intent" would have seriously traumatised him in all likelihood
so true. if he actually murdered people at 100%... I don't even want to imagine his mental anguish

Exactly! Many people don't seem to catch on to the fact that everything bad that has happened in Mob's life is because of his power. He literally had to lock away his emotions because he was afraid of hurting people.
Everything good that is happening is because he is starting to form relationships with others.
As awesome as his powers are, they have been nothing but a curse. That is until Reigen gave him a way to help people with it... but it is still only slightly less of a curse.
Yes and the context of it includes Reigens realization that the claw members were like lost children who didn't grow up and he was afraid of Mob going down the same path.
Reigen is goated.
The aura they felt in first, is his sheer confidence and charisma.😎

Reigen maybe a scam, but he genuinely cares about Mob's well being.
The cell phone tracker is so he can check up on him and keep him out of trouble.
Like the incident with the vase and probably so Mob can text and ask for help easier.

My favorite moment from season one was reigen verbally tearing that one guy apart over his outfit. Even with mobs powers Reigen still does more damage with words.
I don't think reigen actually cared that much about not hurting claw, but he knows that Mob would never recover if he murdered someone, even if it was in self defense. Thats why he never really considered letting mob handle the situation as an option
It's so funny. He's trying so hard to look like a comic book villain and Reigen is just roasting him.
Light spoiler to season 2, but it's also so funny that after this he starts to dress like Reigen.
Watching anime, seeing teenagers fighting big threats, killing people, committing violence, never have I paid any attention to how horrifying it actually is to make a kid go through that until I watched ep 11 of MP. It shouldn't fall on Mob's shoulders to defeat these people. He is a kid. And it's okay to runaway.
Yeah, these kind of questions is the core concept of mob psycho, according to the author in an interview somewhere. The questions nobody asks in shounen stories because it's just been taken for granted, like being "special" because the kid has superpowers, which is one of the first question the story presents.
reigen is so caring that he stopped smoking while mob was around. How do someone not love him
This season ends in such a great way. Who could have imagined that Reigen would save the day?
Season 2 is one of the best seasons of any show of all time

Its kind of hard to understand in moment. Reigen doesn't fully understand how powerless they are in this situation. But he does understand Mob enough to see his stress levels are going the roof. In other anime and cartoons I am sure it is normal to kill people as middle schooler but not this anime. The very first thing Mob told Reigen is he can't control his powers some times and has moments where he loses control. Reigen wanted to protect Mob from giving up control know that anything could happen, which we saw Mob hurt his little brother in the past. It was just lucky Reigen stopped him as Mob was going murder mode which is no telling what he would do and who he would kill which could include his friends.

But yeah if you think about it makes sense. The sun comes from the east, sets to the west. It also doesn't come straight from the top, instead it has a slant, depending on the angle it hits the Earth. So it hits the Earth slightly from uhh below, I suppose? and that means there's always a tiny bit of shadow, where the moss will grow.

Tbh episode 1 of Mob sucked me in but what probably helped was the reason I even checked it out being with was because I was watching a “top anime fights” video and saw Mob vs Hanazawa which caught my interest.
