This pride is in very good condition! I love seeing how the cubs and the dad interact, as well as how the lionesses greet him. Lions are truly beautiful animals. Those babies were in great care.

Here's my take dad protects, patrols meaning walks for hours making sure his family is safe from outsiders.both him and mom have different roles.Its just how their world works.mom provides food and gives birth to his future lineage meaning his genes could go along way.so much involved in having a pride to look after.its only natural he wants to rest.
