    It's so interesting how many of "usual " practices are not based on data! And by interesting I mean frustrating.

      Actually, there was data, just not strong data. This is the way science tends to work. Initially, smaller, less powerful studies are performed which may guide our practices until larger more powerful studies are performed. The newer studies may confirm the earlier studies or (as in this case) refute them

    Starting my ivf journey this month after 4 miscarriages and labs show I am a carrier of a premutation. Can fragile x premutation cause multiple miscarriages?

      @InfertilityTV  Před 4 měsíci +1

      I am not aware of any data linking fragile x premutation to recurrent miscarriage

    Are these two results considered thrombophilia or just a lack of ability to process folate, so methylfolate is taken from that difference? MTRR A66G and MTHFR C677T bout heterozygous

      These (extremely common) variations in the MTHFR gene were not considered in this study. Watch this episode regarding MTHFR cariations and the use of methylfolate (you will be surprised) czcams.com/video/gI_B6o3GkO4/video.html
