Elton John's tribute to Tina Turner seems lovely, but it's worth noting that he has been accused of bullying and mistreating her and he lied in his book about her Tina Turner herself expressed her reluctance to work with him again due to his behavior reminiscent of her past with Ike. It is unfortunate that she has passed away before any reconciliation could take place.
Elton did not bully Tina. Elton was a diva and he was moody. They had a few rows as many passionate artists do. He apologized after he disrespected her at the 1999 diva show. He walked off and called her a bitch and she walked into his trailer and said he was a bitch too. Then they got the performance done
tina told him how to play his piano and told him to not improvise on her songs. they both had different outlook towards live music. as much as they adored each other, they couldnt work thats all it is no one really lied. plus elton isnt known to be a liar post rehab anyways.
