I am never selling my Canon XA10 - I love it!

Looks great imo. Watched this at 1080P on my phone. If a top vlogger/CZcamsr would've uploaded footage filmed with this camera, I wouldn't have bat an eye when it comes to the video quality.

Wow that’s cool you like scootering too. Second recent xa10 video from the past year and both were skate related. How interesting.

Yeah getting scooter clips is probably the most fun way for me to test out cameras. Plus it gives me a reason to go out and catch a sesh

I’ve been looking at getting a mini dv to film skateboarding among other things and see tons on Facebook marketplace. Any chance you could offer some guidance on which ones are the most viable?

Just depends on how much you want to spend. I would try to stick with Sony or Panasonic though. They are the most reliable in my opinion

@@brandoncameracollection thanks for the response!! The two I’m currently looking at are a pc101 and a dvx100b. The pc101 is listed for 60 dollars while the dvx100b is listed for 100. The seller of the dvx said that it has not been tested with a tape because he doesn’t have any to test it with and that the batteries work but haven’t been used for awhile so he is unsure how well they hold a charge. Does that seem fishy and too good to be true for the price? The pc101 ships to me and the dvx is about a 2 hour drive to pick up, any advice is greatly appreciated :)

Think this is better than getting an 80D with different lenses? I had an 80D and it fried, I have an XA10 that I never use. Was thinking of selling.

Well test it out for a little bit and see if you enjoy using it. Just depends on what you are recording and what you like recording with. DSLR or camcorders

Keep it. DSLR sucks. This can film for 12 hours before needing a break.

    "stunning video quality"
I would venture to disagree. Honestly, I tend to put it in the "really, really crap" category. :(

Well in todays standards I would agree but when this camera came out it was was great
