Agree with your comment. Couldn’t help myself from cringing at her passive aggressiveness. It’s disturbing to see her (and also the many comments that rooting for her condescending behaviour) making the interviewer feel so uncomfortable - going full on defence mode about the word “costume” (blah blah I bought this with my own money, this is what fame feels like) and then putting the interview on the spot as though she felt challenged that the interviewer may have felt differently abt the whole incident between Will and Chris. No, none of the behaviour that Tiffany displayed was a power / badass move, it was tacky and arrogant. I dislike how people make it about a race thing too, like if this was done by any other person that isn’t black, they’ll be branded as arrogant, snotty. But if it’s black, it’s empowering, confident etc. Nah uh, this is about the individual. There are so many people who can exert their opinions with class like Rihanna and all. Tiffany ain’t it.

It’s true his defending his wife, but there’s thousands of ways how to defend your wife, in a respectful way, not losing your composure. Cuz he said it himself earlier with his tears flowing down that he wants to be a vessel of love. Is that love? He eats his words for breakfast. There are kids or teens watching online, what would they think of it? Will could have done better than that. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t the comedian’s intention to hurt his wife, because he started making jokes before that, don’t get me wrong I’m not defending him cuz he got mistakes too, but it’s just that it turned out overboard. Let’s admit things go over the top sometimes. But it’s wiser on how you react to the situation, it isn’t just about defending, it’s about how you defend. Think wisely Will and Joke wisely Chris.

Her view of how Will handled this is dangerous. Yes, I think all women can sympathize with the idea of our man standing up for us and that part is admirable. However, his actions, the way he handled it with violence is not the answer. That was a cheap shot, a sucker slap if you will. That fact that Tiffany is saying this is the answer, this is how you handle things, and she has a fanbase (many of whom will listen to her and agree with her without a thought of their own) is dangerous. We cannot condone violence. It’s not the answer. If I were Jada I would have much preferred for Will to say something during his speech instead. Mention that it hurt her feelings because she has an autoimmune disease and it’s not her fault. That would make Chris feel horrible and Will would have come out winning.

You're not understanding subtle nuance as well how people respect and disrespect each other in this particular field. A costume change would be for as tiffany explained "an acting gig" a job. Even if she was wearing a gown for one it would be a prop technically. These events are for achievement and to showcase success by spending on extravagant gowns. The interviewer could have been nervous or whatever other excuse people want to give her but being in that job and that industry one should know better than to try to clown a person especially one that has busted their asses to get to where they are coming out of homelessness and all & knowing she has no hair on her tongue to tell it like it is.
