Reina del Cid is a folk singer songwriter and leader of the eponymous folk rock band based in Los Angeles and Minnesota. Reina del Cid discovers new music, covers classic, americana, folk, traditional folk, and folk rock music, and shares her own original music every week. Her song-a-week video series, Sunday Mornings with Reina del Cid, has amassed a devoted and diverse following made up of everyone from jamheads to college students to white-haired intelligentsia. In 2011 she began collaborating with Toni Lindgren, who is the lead guitarist on all three of Del Cid’s albums, as well as a frequent and much beloved guest on the Sunday Morning videos. Just surfing around yesterday I saw, and listened to, a cover of Harvest Moon. I was smitten. for the next 3 or 4 hours I listened to a ton of stuff you and Toni, and many others, did and I am back at it today. I just can't get enough!!

I stopped in Roswell for a day back in 2010. After kinda loving the peaceful drive through Southern NM, I feel in love with that weirdly welcoming, and rather sleepy little town. Now, I find it totally rad, that this signer chick I randomly followed on CZcams just cause I thought she's had cute voice, somehow got caught in that same gravity well. It's cool to think that all kindred souls get drawn together in some way, no matter what background they're from, because the cosmic forces of the universe will it into reality somhow. Best of luck on the rest of your tour ma'am! I hope it remains a safe and happy voyage! Maybe I'll get to see you guys play someday too!

Oh yeah, speaking of western Canada, there’s a town near here called Vulcan. Leonard Nimoy stopped in to have his picture taken next to the town’s iconic Enterprise statue/model. A must visit for every trekkie.
