I love this book because no matter how much time I have to colour I can find something cute to do. It fits in my purse and is perfect to take along with me 💛
I love this book. BTW, the USA version is ALSO sewn! So, you can be rougher about breaking the spine. I have mine lying open flat

This one is my favorite of all her books. I luv to color small images. The dinosaur page is one of my favorites. Getting it spiral bound is a great idea. i have a set of Prisma Verithin pencils i got last year and i think they might be what I will try first. I really was expecting to see more of her "new" style in there, for me it's too much of the older style which I don't quite like depending on the theme. Worlds of Wonder is her best for me. This one is all over the place, which is the point I guess, but I also believe it's the reason for the negative comments.

@@TheColoringDIVA not into that one either. I have her jungle one, garden one and worlds of wonder. I do like her style like in that it's beautiful, just not really for colouring for most of her books due to the theme and zentangly leaning designs. Ivy and the inky butterfly is one I still might get though.
I really like the book. I agree it is a little harder to get it to lay flat but great images to color 🙂
Some of the drawings are nice but I prefer less busyness on the page. I like the pages with a single drawing on the page.
My concern about buying this book, is that I am finding books even by best- selling artists coming out on very smooth paper. With no tooth to pull the color off of our budget pencil leads, it is very hard to do more than 2 layers, which are not enough to do shadowing or add real dimension to the picture or to follow the tutorials done on the older rectangular books, like Johanna Basford's. If you bought this book at Office Depot, did it have any tooth to its paper? I have also heard here and there on CZcams that Amazon has hired a new 3rd party binder. Whether this is true or not, I had to return 4 or more books to Amazon because the pictures were either cut off at the page edges, cut off by the binding, or both. The extra smooth paper is not pulling enough layers off of my pencils for me to do enough of them to add dimension or shadowing to pictures. I really like this book. Do you know of anything I can do to make my pencils work in it or where I can buy a copy that might have a little tooth? Whereas I have never had a book spiral bound before, I have a few that I did keep that are cut off by the binding that I think I will have to try having them spiral bound. If I order this book, i could see by your problems with binding cut offs forcing you to literally smash open the book's binding that I may have to have this book spiral bound.
While I do love her artwork, I do not color in her books often. I myself personally will not be purchasing this. TFS and happy holidays! 💛
