Through work I’ve been to Montserrat 3 times over the past 2 years. Love the Island but more so the people, welcoming and friendly. Cannot wait to get back. Montserrat a taste of paradise.
Keeping Montserrat 🇲🇸 a place of yesterday and meeting the needs of those who live there is a balance. Move slow and don’t over spend. Keep paradise Paradise. I wish everyone well.
Met you when I was still in my teens living in Montserrat David.. Been a while since this video was done but much of what you said makes sense to this day.... A harbour breakwater and relocated airport would go a long way towards bringing in new investors and help the island develop again. In addition, reverting back to 'Montserrat, the way the Caribbean used to be' would resonate a lot more than whatever that new slogan is, which I can't even recall, despite you mentioning it in this interview!!.. As the saying goes- If it ain't broke, leave it alone!!
Great wisdom this man has and I admired him I also seen him on the island doing great things for the island.
Thank you for this upload..my mum comes fro Monserrat..also my brother is Emile Duberry.. a public speaker etc over there. I was born here in UK.. next year I will visit Monserrat for the very first time..yea I know crazy not been there yet and now 40plus..even went to neighbouring Antigua (dad comes from) but hey nothing hapoens before its time right! Who knows I might not even come back as I like the sound of it 😉

I stay with David and Clover in 1998. What a lovely couple. I say couple, I mean a lovely family. They made me most welcome. I would love to return there some day but I’m not sure that would be possible. If you get a chance to go there, please do, you won’t be disappointed.
