In a precursor to an upcoming episode I thought I'd bring you along on a quick trip up north to Oslo and Stockholm. Made even more exciting by the fact I got there on a brand new airline - Norse Atlantic. Fun to fly on a 787 Dreamliner for such a short flight.
We explore Christmas Markets in Oslo and Stockholm, learn out to stay warm in the frigid Nordics, and of course eat some absolutely delicious food.

Your "less-produced" content is better than 75% of the content on CZcams. I really enjoyed this vlog-style type of content. Cheers!
That's really kind Andrew, thank you. I was never quite sure if people wanted this type of content or just the polished city guides.
I remember these. So glad it's back!
Thanks Casper, we'll keep them coming!
Your Oslo vlog from 5 years ago took me there last summer and I loved every moment of it. I've been to Stockholm in January too. Both cities are such a vibe - and an excellent place for us drab, cloud-covered, wet Brits to head to in the winter if we need to get some sun in our eyes, improve our mental health and make a bit of Vitamin D. It may be colder and the days may be shorter, but when the sun comes out up there, it comes OUT. I like it better that way.
Thanks man, so glad we played a small part in getting you to Oslo! I like both cities very much, especially at this time of year.
Beautiful video my friend 🤝🤝 especially on this one with ya Priceless Jewel ya better half 💎💕💎😁😁😁😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰
Your pronunciation of Julmust was spot on. Some people save them for the next year but it’s mostly something for the Julmust-nerds.
It was possibly the only word I *could* pronounce!
I kept going back and forth with either flying out of Chicago or taking a Norse Air flight. I think I'll try Norse. Those seats look so comfortable. Thanks and greetings from Michigan❤️
Thanks Jo! Come back and tell us how it goes.
Stockholm at Christmas is magic. You grandparents took your Dad and I to watch the Santa Lucia parade through the snow-covered Stockholm streets with the lovely blonde Santa Lucia, adorned with a crown of lighted candles being pulled in sleigh by reindeer.
They really know how to do Christmas, that's for sure!
Well I know where I'm going next Christmas 🛫🛬
Worth going to both. Lovely atmosphere.
What a city Oslo is❤❤ really want to rase a family here!
Literally re-watched the last series this week!
Ha, no way! Glad to hear it. Guess that means we need to make more.
@ Yes please!
watching this with a bacon and egg sandwich. A lovely Friday morning it has to be said. Visiting a friend in Norway in July!
Great, now I want a bacon and egg sandwich.
Love this channel! Keep the great content Attachè crew.
Thanks so much!
Been meaning to check out Norse. Glad you are the one reviewing this.
Worth having a look especially on that London - Oslo route.
Adorable.
Ha, thanks!
Great work, as always!
Come back to Oslo in May, June or July, or even August - The more pleasant months. I'll show you around!
I've been to Oslo in May and it was glorious, loved it!
These are cool !!
Good work as always.
Thanks!
You have a gift. Please make more videos.
That's really kind, Márcio, thank you!
Great work!
As a swede, never heard that people would save their julmust for a year. You can buy eastermust and summermust during the year, it's the same thing as julmust (jul=christmas). The taste will not change (for the better) in a plastic bottle for one year.
Yeah I was fascinated by this little tidbit. A waiter at the Julbord joint we went to was telling me about it. I can see the appeal.
@ I'm also a Swede, and we like to joke that the companies that produce "must" simply change the label from "julmust" to "påskmust" ("Christmas must" to "Easter must") and re-label unsold bottles, because they taste the same after all. Perhaps that was what the waiter tried to explain? Never heard in my life that some people store their bottles for a full year. :)
Hahaha yeah I did wonder about that. Still, it's great stuff!
Wow. Very interesting video.😉
Thank you! 😃
I like your content it's classy
You're JUST discovering charcoal heater-paks? They've been available for 40+ years.....
Any outdoor shop or, any shop/gas station located where the temps get near freezing have them, usually next to the check-out.
Great to see more videos these days of you doing what you do best. If I may make a suggestion: Your voice was a bit hard to hear at times but when I turned up the volume then the music was too loud so I suggest bumping up your voice levels. As long as they don’t distort/peak I think it will go a long way to the listenability especially for people watching on mobile.
Looking forward to the next video!
You're 100% right. Filming on planes is tough but we can do better with the mixing.
Ahh…Norwegian Air, RIP. 😭 My favorite flight was Oakland, California to Stockholm (ARN) for $298.00. Then, the rtn I bid to upgrade to Premium Econ for about $100-$150, so I could bring back the beer and gin I bought in Copenhagen. 😁
Yeah I remember those days too. I never did to Oakland (I don't think 🤔) but I certainly did Chicago and New York. Those upgrade fares were primo.
@ There was a glorious (but short) period in which Norwegian flew to Gatwick out of SFO, which I was able to take advantage of once. Hopefully Norse comes to either Oakland or SFO soon
I remember those days. It's so important to have competition on those trans-atlantic routes.
I’d love a good Christmas market. Now I have a baby so not sure where to take him.
Bring him along! Babies love a good Christmas market.
this is interesting, Norwegian premium was my favourite way to fly to LA or San Francisco
I’m unclear about when those raisin saffron buns are available….you said just during Advent, yet I always think of Advent being from the first Sunday in December until Christmas. But you made it sound like it was a shorter timeframe. Please explain.
Yes, we eat them the whole of Dezember. Gives you all the Christmas feels
Yes you're right, it's most of December. And they're glorious. I had no idea how into seasonal pastries our Scandinavian friends are. It's a great idea.
Any chance we will see an episode from Seoul, South Korea from you ?
We'd love to make that work, I absolutely love Seoul.
I’m flying Norse jfk-Berlin soon for $147$!!!! Direct!!!
Minus 7? *Scoffs in Canadian* You call THAT cold?
-7 is practically spring in Saskatchewan.
Oh it's well established that I'm a thermal wimp. No idea how you Canadians even exist.
Coldest I've ever experienced is -20c. NO THANK YOU.
@ Coldest for me was about -45.... We still go to work! It's crazy
I....can't even comprehend that.
Is it just me or is the audio really quiet? Sounds like you’re talking in a whisper on recent videos.
Worst airlines I have ever travelled on!
Oh? What happened?
@ The entire experience was extremely poor from checking in to inflight. One thing that was very noticeable, the extreme predatory practices as well as the general attitude of their staff and flight attendants being extremely unprofessional. One particularly memorable experience was boarding the plan, despite being at least half empty they packed everyone in the back and watched people struggle to find compartment space , with absolutely no help or at least pointing out that half the compartments are empty upfront, flight attendants there stood idle, literally joking with each other’s about it. Paying for business on the way back, once again I overheard flight attendants joking about the same situation in economy during boarding.
Wow, that's not good at all. My experience was positive on the ground and pretty neutral in the air. I feel like I should try them longhaul to get the full experience.
