Piers self-defence was pathetic - he should just deny partisanship (even though nobody's going to be convinced) and field new questions in order not to waste time. The only valid point he had was about the badge.

Piers Morgan often come close to becoming a human being with a strong moral compass but always turns away because of the media role he occupies. This interview is a microcosm of the problem which is human morality being kept down by cruel and ruthless power.
