We had a masticating juicer and a Aicook centrifugal juicer like this one czcams.com/users/postUgkxXHNfxr6U9XrHQpsdjUrKNVP231BfS9q9 Both of them made about the same amount of juice. The Aikcook one died in 3 weeks haha. China brand. LolSo we bought this one since at least we knew the brand name and it was about the same price.Imagine our surprise when we make two 16 oz cups of celery juice and have leftover celery. We juiced it and made almost another cup! Same thing happened with our cucumber juice. So it's about 20 - 30 % more juice than our other two juicers including the masticating cold press one!The motor is so much stronger on this one than the Aikcook. It sucks in the vegetables and spits them out like it's angry.I've only had it a few days so don't know how long it will last but all the plastics and interior is much stronger and better made than the other two we had. If it breaks, I can buy a new one with the savings in vegetable bill. Haha. This literally is going to save me about 60- 80 bucks a month because of the juice output. No one likes to waste food.Update! It broke in 8 days. Motor started freaking out. I'm going to get another of them and try my luck because I really really want this one to be the one.
Thank U! This video is useful for me ,i am an explorer of all kinds of delicacy. Also, this slow juicer, for brand and type , is well-known. One thing i agree most is with the help of cheese cloth, the flavour is pure. Haha!
Yes, No cap means you let it flow. Perhaps you throw back in another round so that the water is well "mixed and ground" together with the almonds... and in the future perhaps consider buying the new HU 700. I will be making a video of the unboxing of HU 700 soon. We have it on stock now at our Hartamas office.
I just got a Hurom in pink and am enjoying fresh grapefruit juice. I have a bag of almonds and will make almond milk next. I will try with and without flavoring and see which I like best. I will probably use Stevia instead of Agave since I am trying to stay away from sugars.
I have used your recipe but used raw honey instead of agave (I actually used the bees Knees.... my fav.) for regular and chocolate almond milk and is so amazing!! :)
Really helpful video. Loads of soya milk videos on CZcams using slow juicers but no other video I've watched uses a cheese cloth. I like it really smooth with minimal bits and you've just saved me a lot of money not to buy one of these juicers. Thanks
I have a Hurom but if I still need to strain the milk, I might as well continue using my Nutribullet and its much quicker. For such an expensive machine, we shouldn't have to strain.
Thank you for the demo; I just ordered my Hurom Elite HH, and am excited to receive/use it. Can you strain the nut milk w/coffee filters vs. the nut/filter bag?
Most welcome and hope it helped in a way. Yes you can use coffee filter cloth strainers... you will want to be able to squeeze the milk out.. so you don't have a lot of wastage. Happy juicing!
If I STILL have to strain it in a nut milk bag then I'll just use my professional blender (Thermomix) to make it, the container of FOOD GRADE stainless steel.
Great video, thanks. Please do some research on high fructose Agave syrup, or Agave nectar, as people call it. It's not better than any other raw sugar. If you want it sweet, use local honey (to try and ensure the bees didn't get pollen from nearby GMO crops), or plant some Stevia, and put some leaves in while juicing it.
+Alan Marmo Nehemy and honey is also very high on glucose, therefore having very high glycemic index. On top of that, after straining out the little fiber left in the juice, the whole thing ends up having a high glycemic index, therefore it will mess up a bit your system (if you don't eat other things with it to balance out), and potentially will make you crave other foods.
The cookie turned out softer than what I wanted. Hence, I suggest that the almond flour should be used for bread -- not cookies. I haven't tested on the bread personally but a few friends who did said it was yummy. Hope this helps!
We sell it at LA JUICERIA. RM 15 only per nut bag. You can email us at info@lajuiceria.com and we can arrange shipment / delivery to you or you can pick up at any of our outlets after you have arranged payment. Pls just contact the La Juiceria team.
Hi Ms. Anabelle. I've been making this almond milk using your recipes. However, mine doesn't always last longer. it spoils very quickly - within 1 day. Is there anything i can do to make it last longer?? Thank you.
MOHD SHAHIR RAMLAN I made mine like this too but without any additional flavorings and itll last about 5 days. Did you put the milk in an airtight bottle or jar and refrigerate it?
Try to consume/drink it as soon as possible or you will lose all the good nutrients from almond juice. In juicing guide from the user manual of juicer, it is advised to drink the juice within 12 hours to enjoy maximum nutrients. Make sure you rinse the glass bottle with boiling water or steamer to kill any bacteria/germs before using it to avoid any contaminations.
You can choose to boil or not to boil. If you boil, nutritional content will be lower, but shelf life will be longer in the fridge. If you do not boil, consume within 3 days and must always be kept refrigerated. Juice on!

+kaui lani the strainer that comes in the juicer is fine, but not that fine to remove the smallest particles. You don't really "need" to use the cheesecloth, it's up to you. If the juicer had a finer mesh, the force needed to get things through it would be too high, requiring a stronger motor, etc..... it's already expensive as it is, :) I don't think people would like paying $1000 on a juicer, since the motor is one of, if not the most expensive part in the juicer.
+Kale Girl There is different. Using blender, high temperature will destroy the nutrient, while slow juicer do not produce high temperature , and hence can preserve the nutrient better
Goods from for what its worth but there are too many steps involved for this machine to be so expensive. Dumping all the ingredients inside a blender at once then straining once does the trick. This may be a good machine for juicing but not for nut milks.
It works very well for almond milk. I haven’t tried. It in the blender since I have a Hurom. The Hurom is a slow juicer which does not heat up and destroy the nutrients like regular juicers and blenders.
Loved how informative you were thanks 👌

Great vid! Very straight forward. Thanks :) will be trying this
I just got my Hurom slow juicer so this video was perfect!
Thank U! This video is useful for me ,i am an explorer of all kinds of delicacy. Also, this slow juicer, for brand and type , is well-known. One thing i agree most is with the help of cheese cloth, the flavour is pure. Haha!
great information thanks for sharing...
You are so cute !!!
Thank you for the really helpful video. I am now going to try making my own nut milks
This was awesome! Thankyou and straight to the point while being helpful. I can’t wait u til my juicer arrives.
TheBritFix happy juicing !!!
Love it,,,thank you so much
Good stuff! Thanks.
thanks for the tip!
Very good I do that in my blender
Thank you that video was very clear, I have a Hurom slow juicer but no cap on the end I suppose I will just have to let it flow.

Do like I do use a wine bottle cork
Thank you!

you think if I mix soaked hazelnut with almond and fine chopped dates it will pass through the slow juicer ok?
Hi, thanks . do you use the blank sieve or the fine sieve?
Save yourself some time and use a fine strainer on the output of the juicer. Also use a colander to rinse the almonds.
thank you. the fine strainer makes sense. i was disappointed until I saw your comment.
I was thinking the same thing, why not just make it a one step and use a strainer over the juice collector. Win win.
What is the exact product series edition is this juicer?
How do you clean the nut bag? To me; straining using the nut bag is kind of expensive when you consider your time and etc.
the shakin part is the best out of this video
I have used your recipe but used raw honey instead of agave (I actually used the bees Knees.... my fav.) for regular and chocolate almond milk and is so amazing!! :)
Hi, Can you send me a link to the place you got that glass container with the strainer in the lid. So cool for this purpose!
Hi, for soya milk, is it need to cook the soyabean first? and did i need to boil the soya milk after that? thanks~
Thank you! Great video, one question if I may, how long do you have to soak the cashews?
Cheers and thanks again for this vid :)
I got excited so see that this juicer made nut milk but no different than doing it in my vitamix which is faster but I hate straining.
How did you get that hurom juicer in black?
Thanks Mrs
I make almond milk in my hurom but i dont filter it with bag. Looking forward to buy Huroms second generation model.
Hi! I'm looking for the cookies, I can't find your video :(
For those of you who can't or don't eat chocolate like myself, you can use carob powder instead. It's an excellent alternative.
why dont u eat chocs?
How do you wash the cheese cloth?
Hello. I like this slow juicer. Where can I find it? I want to buy a Hurom juicer from Korea but I can't find it. Help me, please.
is there video already about the almond cookie?
Hi Anabelle, why do we need to add in salt ? Is it okay if we don't put salt ?
Should we not remove the almond skin before we put it into the juicier grinder??
Really helpful video. Loads of soya milk videos on CZcams using slow juicers but no other video I've watched uses a cheese cloth.
I like it really smooth with minimal bits and you've just saved me a lot of money not to buy one of these juicers. Thanks
Hello, can homemade almond milk be stored in refrigerator? How long can keep in fridge?
Almond milk is the best
I have a Hurom but if I still need to strain the milk, I might as well continue using my Nutribullet and its much quicker. For such an expensive machine, we shouldn't have to strain.
good ...glad to sub u ..
how about oatmilk or rice milk??

TheHighLanderGirlis you're juicer still working well?
If I STILL have to strain it in a nut milk bag then I'll just use my professional blender (Thermomix) to make it, the container of FOOD GRADE stainless steel.
can all Hurom models do this?

Alan Marmo Nehemy or dates
Honey and Stevia Extract are good substitute for the unhealthy processed sugar or Agave syrup.
Even ants stay away from my Stevia container....
Hi La juiceria, where can i buy those nice bottles shown in ur video? thanks!
We sell the bottles and nutbag at La Juiceria office in Hartamas. 03-28577136
Making nut milk using a Hurom Slow Juicer
You can make ice cream too
Waiting for the cookie video ;)
The cookie turned out softer than what I wanted. Hence, I suggest that the almond flour should be used for bread -- not cookies. I haven't tested on the bread personally but a few friends who did said it was yummy. Hope this helps!
I'll stick to my almond cow thanks 🤣 #nostraining
Bruuhhhhhhhhh 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I buy organic almonds and my water never looks that dirty. But the last 2 times I made this milk it tasted sour 🤔
omg transfer here add there only get a sip so troublesome
Hi, do we need to roast the almond first?
Ahh..the almond smelt good after roasting but didn't know it'll not result a better tasting milk. thanks
where can i find the cheese cloth?

Everything must be sterile or you stand to inoculate it with spoilage bacteria or worse
do we need to cook the almond first? is it raw or it is already slow baked ready to eat one?
raw almonds. best nutritionally too.
No cooking. Just soaking overnight. :)
Thank-you for the video! My question is do u need to boil the milk after? Will it change the nutritional value if i do? Thank-you!
You can choose to boil or not to boil. If you boil, nutritional content will be lower, but shelf life will be longer in the fridge. If you do not boil, consume within 3 days and must always be kept refrigerated. Juice on!
we still have to strain the milk???? i thought it was already made with no pulp. you did the company no justice with this vid.

It would be helpful if you include amounts/measurements of the nuts etc
How come this juicer doesn't take out all the fiber?

+Kale Girl There is different. Using blender, high temperature will destroy the nutrient, while slow juicer do not produce high temperature , and hence can preserve the nutrient better
I belive the difference is the speed, so you don't damage the enzymes at a slower speed
if u need to manually filter the milk , why do u need this machine for? just use a normal juicer.
lol, you dont get it
Dry the pulp in a food-dehydrator! ((o:=
The flavouring just defeats the purpose of juicing...
how?
so much easier with a blender especially my handheld blender!
blentec works best.
Goods from for what its worth but there are too many steps involved for this machine to be so expensive. Dumping all the ingredients inside a blender at once then straining once does the trick. This may be a good machine for juicing but not for nut milks.

that just sounds. wrong lol nut. milk
That's not how you want to wash your hands when you want them clean... or 'really' clean as said in the video
You've thrown away all the healthy fibers! :(
She didn't throw. She make cookies out of it.
fibers don't have any nutrients.
Nepali, yes the fibers are the fiber from what you juiced, which is necessary in the diet.
Dangar ji. Bhigo k khale seedhe. Itne bartan kyu gande kr rahi hai.
Fool. Eat the almond directly. Y to waste time n scatter so much.
bad quality
It's spelt almond, but pronounced amond .. The "l" of silent.
It's interesting how you insult your audience by're instructing them wash their hands and make sure they're clean.
