    We had a masticating juicer and a Aicook centrifugal juicer like this one czcams.com/users/postUgkxXHNfxr6U9XrHQpsdjUrKNVP231BfS9q9 Both of them made about the same amount of juice.The Aikcook one died in 3 weeks haha. China brand. LolSo we bought this one since at least we knew the brand name and it was about the same price.Imagine our surprise when we make two 16 oz cups of celery juice and have leftover celery. We juiced it and made almost another cup! Same thing happened with our cucumber juice. So it's about 20 - 30 % more juice than our other two juicers including the masticating cold press one!The motor is so much stronger on this one than the Aikcook. It sucks in the vegetables and spits them out like it's angry.I've only had it a few days so don't know how long it will last but all the plastics and interior is much stronger and better made than the other two we had. If it breaks, I can buy a new one with the savings in vegetable bill. Haha.This literally is going to save me about 60- 80 bucks a month because of the juice output. No one likes to waste food.Update! It broke in 8 days. Motor started freaking out. I'm going to get another of them and try my luck because I really really want this one to be the one.

      Yes, No cap means you let it flow. Perhaps you throw back in another round so that the water is well "mixed and ground" together with the almonds... and in the future perhaps consider buying the new HU 700. I will be making a video of the unboxing of HU 700 soon. We have it on stock now at our Hartamas office.

    Great video, thanks. Please do some research on high fructose Agave syrup, or Agave nectar, as people call it. It's not better than any other raw sugar. If you want it sweet, use local honey (to try and ensure the bees didn't get pollen from nearby GMO crops), or plant some Stevia, and put some leaves in while juicing it.

    • @alancheira
      @alancheira Před 8 lety +2

      +Alan Marmo Nehemy and honey is also very high on glucose, therefore having very high glycemic index. On top of that, after straining out the little fiber left in the juice, the whole thing ends up having a high glycemic index, therefore it will mess up a bit your system (if you don't eat other things with it to balance out), and potentially will make you crave other foods.

      Try to consume/drink it as soon as possible or you will lose all the good nutrients from almond juice. In juicing guide from the user manual of juicer, it is advised to drink the juice within 12 hours to enjoy maximum nutrients. Make sure you rinse the glass bottle with boiling water or steamer to kill any bacteria/germs before using it to avoid any contaminations.

    How come this juicer doesn't take out all the fiber?

    • @alancheira
      @alancheira Před 8 lety

      +kaui lani the strainer that comes in the juicer is fine, but not that fine to remove the smallest particles. You don't really "need" to use the cheesecloth, it's up to you. If the juicer had a finer mesh, the force needed to get things through it would be too high, requiring a stronger motor, etc..... it's already expensive as it is, :) I don't think people would like paying $1000 on a juicer, since the motor is one of, if not the most expensive part in the juicer.
