I have the CVP309 and now the CVP609 and will get the CVP809. My CVP309 was sold to a friend and 12 years later it is still in perfect working condition. No regrets.
What, no comments?Hmmm...
Thanks for making me fall in love with the P-125. I love your videos. Greetings from México. (:
Thanks for the very informative and exciting to watch presentation. You add an instinctive and fun to watch style to your clip.
Thanks budger. Glad you enjoyed it!
Good review 👍
Many years ago, I had a 309 & loved it. But I needed a portable keyboard. The 309 was sold to a “proper” pianist who loved the action. So that shows how good CVP ‘s were even then.
I’ve heard 709 & 809 side by side & the latest model is clearly A SERIOUS upgrade!
My guilty pleasure would be a white 809. So, if you do come across one, for goodness sake do (not) let me know!!
I JUST bought a white 809 - maybe I found the last one (it's new) in the world? Arriving this Tues, I'm scared - hoping it will be all right! But black wouldn't have looked good in our living room & think the 909 only came in darks. Hope you found what you wanted!
@cindylou3708 Hi there. I did get a white CVP-809 & enjoyed it immensely.
The new 909 doesn't really add anything - but it does help make a good used 809 a real bargain!
I do hope you enjoy yours as much as I did mine. I'm sure you will 😊
Once again I needed portability so I now have a Genos but I'll never forget my gorgeous, white 809.
What a fantastic piano. I wish I have the skill to utilize it.
How about the metronome? Did they improve it any over the 709 which was minimalist at best?
I would like to have a listen of the overview demo song on board...
My parents had a Baby Grand piano from the late 1950s and passed it to my sister in the 1980s. Will an investment in an electronic piano last for 40 years ? My worry is that it will all of a sudden somehow not be supported in terms of parts or technicians. Does anyone have any insight?
I purchased the 709GP right before the 809 was released. I may go back and get the 809GP. Great video. thank you.
You would loose a fortune
Wow this person is filthy rich
which song were you playing at 0:43 ?
“Steam” wirelessly...😆
An actual typo in the ad @ 6:56.✌🏼
Forgetting about all the voices, how does the action, touch, and piano sound compare to a Kawaii CA 98, CA 11 or the NV10? My understanding is that Kawaii is the best hybrid piano on the market, although Yamaha is excellent too.
You are probably looking at the wrong model. The CVP series is not just a piano but much more. Though, this model has the hybrid action and sound. I believe Yamaha N3X is the most realistic hybrid in the market.
Brian Smith thank you.
Like that Keyboard
Hello brother.......
Loved it.......And enjoyed a lot........

Cause iam going to buy one and soooooo confused.......
So can you help me brother
Welcome to your needs and skills v technology
What differences are there between the cvp 805 and cvp 809?
Hi Robert. I wrote a detailed blog all about the differences between CVP805 and CVP809. You can read it on our website here: www.epianos.co.uk/yamaha-cvp805-vs-cvp809-what-are-the-differences/ - Hope it helps!
How much the price for CVP 809?
11,799 to 12,999
Everything's alright but long do these Yamaha touch screen keyboards last?
Thanks Aaron. The first ones with touchscreens like this were made by Yamaha in late 2012 (CVP600 series) and we've not had a single issue with any customers' touchscreen. Overall, Yamaha simply do not make low quality equipment. Their reputation depends on it. And I would expect the quality to get better and better with each new edition. In other words: I would never expect the touchscreen to fail, and would equate it to an iPad or iPhone quality.
@@ePianoscouk hey epianos. Thanks for that hope cuz I have a psr sx900 and I am just uk sometimes afraid if something happens cuz for the price I paid it does scare me. I found the S series screens more comforting cuz it won't fail. But anyways the sx900 is way better and I love it. A mini genos feel. It's really amazing and thanks for u r demos too.
Would you choose 809 or 905? 909 is too expensive for me .....
Definitely the 809
There is the CVP 909 now
That's right! See our blog on the Yamaha CVP-900 series announcement here: www.epianos.co.uk/new-yamaha-cvp-909-cvp-905-clavinova-announced/
809 is better
its a major policy mistake imo to produce new models every few years. The main argument is always how much better this model is, than the previous ones.Which only makes you lose any confidence in what you are buying.
looks like my genos is beaten up by the CVP 809!
But you'll be able to move the Genos around!!
Yamaha is making me feel broke
I don’t think the orchestra sounds anything like real, in fact I’d say it sounds not much better than a 1990’s Casio keyboard.
Well, buying a Casio will save you lots of cash
yamaha made hundreds of junk sounds for advertizements
