- Not a fan of this boss, the wind and lightning phases just destroy any chance at being aggressive. Ice and P1 I do like fairly well, too bad those aren't the entire fight. I didn't get to show everything I wanted to, unfortunately. Took about 5 hours.
Not sure if I'll keep doing no blessing/aux. We'll see how annoyed I get :P

@@manwithlongnose2810it’s easier no roll ngl cuz most of his attacks are misdirectable so u can strafe him without rolling, it’s just harder cuz he’s doing it rl1
@@heyysmearo Stop coping, bro. No roll is much harder than playing as usual. Rolling is the core mechanics of the game
@@Vengeance_Im strafing/misdirecting usually allows you to punish heavily more than if you just rolled. Most of his attacks you can strafe to go behind him, like his four hit combo ending with the wind/electricity/snow attack, you can misdirect and punish him throughout the combo. It’s way better than rolling. Plus, rolling eats stamina and if you don’t roll u have more stamina technically
@@heyysmearo Still no rolling requires much more skill while playing regular is much more doable and easier. It's as simple as it gets.

Rellana is definitely doable and has been done and messmer should be doable. dunno about final boss tho 😭

I like the DLC overall but I have complaints. A lot of bosses are not great, either just from a moveset perspective (this one) or due to jank. Base game has better boss quality imo.

Hardest boss so far for me of the three I found , you are fighting three bosses here, the lion, the camera and your muscle memory, harder than waterfowl
You only fight the camera if you make the mistake of staying close to him for too long. Mid range is the sweet spot.

Back to the old tried and true Cleanrot Knight Sword baby!
Pretty weak to thrust and need some range, plus running r2 under the lunge. For once it's just the perfect option (and I love that)
I hated this boss. Wonder how aggressive someone can do a kill with rolls because the hitboxes seem massive (and I can barely tell whats happening especially up close)
I struggled the most against this boss. I couldn’t figure out his attack patterns at all with the way he moved. Don’t know how you did.

Kinda sad how some of the attacks force you to basically run away because they are designed to hit you no matter what if you are close.
The dancing lion isn't making the fight a dance but a show for himself.
Which attack are you referring to exactly, because it has literally zero of those
Malenia has a dozen more "run away and watch the boss do a cutscene level attack" than the Dancing Lion. Not being able to roll these definitely results in a lot of running, or "spacing".

I gotta disagree. This boss is great, and the wind phase isn't an issue, IMO. The lightning phase is tough, though. Still, not every boss should be made to be fought with hyper aggression.
The problem with the DLC is you either "cheese" with summons, bleeds and buffs or you are a no hit GOD like this guy. Everyone in between will not have a great time playing it.
