I'm Finnish, and have seen Rammstein here 3 times, saw the rocket launcher 2 times, wow! AWESOME shows, especially the last one, their stadium tour, it was MASSIVE! Nearly burned off my eyebrows lol :D We were close to the stage. And so lucky they came to our city, Tampere, and had two shows. They are extremely good, no matter where they go to. They bring their own gear of course. AND the lightning is real. Read about Nikola Tesla and the Faraday cage :)
Big hugs and lots of love from Finland!!

  • @TomTomson81
    @TomTomson81 Před 3 lety +115

The lightning was edited for DVD. The rest of it all real but a bit pimped up.
Till (lead singer) is a pyrotechnician himself. He's a very special person in general. He lives his art and his art is black as the night. He likes pain, he needs it. If you see a music video of him where his upper body is covered with cuts, then these are real too. Then he did this to himself. For the official music video "Ich tue dir weh" (which we don't want to see because live is better 😁), he had a hole pierced in his cheek to put a lightbulb in his mouth so that his mouth glows when he sings. It got funny when he got thirsty and drank something. Then the water splashed out of the hole through the cheek.😁
He's pretty much the scariest thing there is on stage, but in reality he is the loveliest and nicest person. He just has a dark side that he lives out openly.
Rammstein songs mostly deal with the deepest abysses of the human soul and do not shy away from using true crimes as models for their songs.
The victims of these crimes think that's a good thing. Till sings almost exclusively from the perpetrator's perspective. He penetrates his thoughts and then transports it accordingly disturbing and sick. Not how we see such a mental patient, but how these madmen see themselves. The songs are about cannibalism, child abuse, torture. All topics that exist and are often hushed up. But Rammstein also campaigns against homophobia and xenophobia. In Poland they waved the rainbow flag and the guitarists kissed each other during the concert. That caused a stir. If there is any taboo, Rammstein will break it. There is nothing they don't do.
I hope my english was understandable. It was a long text. 😁

Thanks and I think exactly, because he lives his dark site in his arts, he is such a nice guy. I also know the complete opposite. Looking like a classy business guy, but better don't look what is going on at home. Terrible thing is, when it is your own father who is the abuser, and no-one believes you, because he does not look like it! And yes, I totally agree, since I discovered Rammstein back in 1997, they helped me a lot. Hope I can tell them one day. Have a nice evening.

What you just described is a demon attached to this man. As we know many bands & musicians sell their souls for fame & glory. The singer is such a bad ass. They say an alter ego enters the musicians & do the impossible on stage. With all that fire, every time he raises his arms, flame shoots up. And what it looked like a foo fighter lol, shot back & the entire stage blew up... it didn't affect the singer & band one bit, like nothing, no human would be still standing there without any reactions & continue singing, the heat from those flames had to be HIGH, but he & band felt like home. And like you said in reality he's the loveliest & nicest person, what does that tell you? And what they promote is the dark, self-destruction, killing & children abuse (the children abuse alone is mocking God) and also the lgbq which all goes against God. The music is AWESOME... in heavens, Lucifer was in charge of music & made beautiful music, since his falling he decided to use music to against humanity & draw them in to sin. That chanting is not by accident, sounds like chanting for rituals.

If you look careful you'll notice that Till Lindemann (the Leadsinger), looks like he is covered in blood, he is NOT. Its because he (and the others), have fire resistant gel, and the blood/dirt are from the power residue that sticks to the gel.
I'm danish, so with Germany on our southern border is not uncommon for Rammstein to come and do Concerts in Denmark, I've watched them 3 times (1 indoor and 2 outdoor), and I can assure you that its hot inside. My friends wife went to us with the indoor concert, she didn't really know Rammstein other than "its not really my style, and they sing in german", 2 days after the Concert, she had an update on facebook with the text "Its nice to go running in the woods, with my new friends in Rammstein".
The fires from the gun, is somehow connected to some wires over the crowd so it can go out and back toward the scene. I'm not sure how exactly its done.
If you were in the front row you used to be able to buy some merch with the text "I survived front row at a Rammstein Concert" (or something along those lines, I don't have one myself but my friend does.
I've been to my share of concerts, and Rammstein have been some of the best I've been at.

In the past 2 decades I was at a Rammstein concert 3 times, next year nr 4, yes. And at one time close to the stage, the flames were very hot and when they performed Feuer Frei we were shrouded in an orange mist. In all the years the shows got better and more huge than the former shows. My last concert was in 2019, the Stadium Tour. Absolutely insane production. But I have not found great video material of that series of concerts, mostly visitor cameras with bad audio. Btw, how much of the special effects, flames, fireworks, etc are allowed differs per country. I heard that in the US a lot of pyro stuff is not allowed. Rammstein is not just a musical concert, but also an experience. The lyrics many times have double meaning which can only fully be understood if you speak German. Luckily I learned German in high school. Makes the performance so much better!

Hey Dude - I really like how you react on Rammstein in Paris... your eyes and your "derailing" face... soooo funny.
Yeah man go ahead... So do not know if s.b. mentioned already before, but you really really should react on more live shows from them. RAMMSTEIN shows are absolutely breathtaking ... go on with live at Madison Square Garden shows, or St. Petersburg or even more from Paris...
gogogo you will not regret it buddy - trust me! Greets from Germany

It is nice to mix Rammstein live performances with Aurora ones. Nice contrast and like both (ok love Aurora more but Rammstein is great and entertaining - also great riffs :) ). BTW: after Corona they will continue tour and it will be a little like Mad Max vibes on stadions :)
