So, all this time later, years of usage, should you still buy the iPhone 11 in 2022? Can you use it as your only phone? Let's talk about that!

I have a 6s and have always noticed that my somewhat larger hands get in the way of me playing certain games that I really enjoy. I originally purchased the iPhone SE 3 over the iPhone 11 due to it being more future proof, however I realized that by the time they stop giving software updates to the iPhone 11, I'll probably have enough money to upgrade anyway. Plus to me it isn't the biggest deal in the world not having the newest updates. So I returned the SE 3 and I am planning on purchasing the iPhone 11 whenever the money goes back into my account and I should have the phone by next week. I think having more screen and just a general bigger phone will do me wonder, plus I'd love to mess around with the ultrawide lens. At first I had my doubts, but watching this video 100% convinced me to purchase an iPhone 11 instead. You're channel is amazing by the way, I love how much energy you have! Keep up the awesome work!

@@Dante20321 it depends how much money you can spend,I was on budget,I didn't want to spend lots of money on used iPhone so I decided to buy 11, still pretty good I can't complain about it,it's much better than iPhone se3, better than Xs or xr ,if you buy it you will be happy,or if you can afford to buy a better one for example 12 etc but as I said 11 still working pretty good,good camera 👍
I’m currently using an iPhone 11. I bought it brand new last December and it is fantastic ! I’m so happy with it and I recommend it 100% , especially if you come from an iPhone 8 or more ancient. It wouldn’t be much of an upgrade coming from an iPhone X, Xs or Xr though, except maybe in the camera department….
I just upgraded to the 11 from a 2nd gen SE and have been really happy with it. I was somewhat skeptical of Face ID but it really does work great. Thanks for the great review!

I just got the iPhone 11 4 days ago. I requested to upgrade my iPhone 5 to a newer model before going into our hospital duty this pre-grad year and I wasn’t sure what to request. I wanted something with a reasonable price (since I really dislike asking my parents for expensive things) and something that wouldn’t be obsolete immediately, so I went with the 11. This vid really helped assure me with my choice 😄
you should for sure consider it! it is an amazing truly underrated phone. The cameras are insanely good pretty much the same as 2022 iPhones. The battery life and performance is pretty good, and the display is pretty good as well. Yes its lcd but apple did a very good job tuning it and its a pretty large display coming in at 6.1inch. I will keep mine till a few months after the 14's release than I am going to get the 14 pro. But for now its a great phone and its still pretty recent. Tbh not only is it not too much different from the standard 13 but it really isn't even that much different from the 13 pro.

I just got my iphone 11 last Sept 2021 and its my best phone so far! I went from 7 to 11 ans the battery life and screen quality and camera is sooo good. I’ll probably use this until 2024-2025 max. In my opinion it is still super worth it
@S.A coming from iphone 7, yes. I once dropped it on my foot and that hurt like hell haha tho having a pop socket really help holding this huge/heavy phone :)

Bought this phone back in January, huge upgrade from my iphone 7. I'm not a fan where every phone companies decided to release new flagship every 1 year, imo 2 years is enough. If you had the ip 11 or pro max, wait for another 2 and half years and get yourself the ip 13 instead of the new one because the upgrade is minimal and this goes the same to android user.

Been guilty of buying the latest tech I had 12 mini then I got a new purple 12 sold that for a s21 ultra but wasn’t happy using android so decided to buy a 2020 se now I’ve also just purchased the 11 not much speed difference between that and the 13 and saved a heap of money
Companies release phone evry year so people can upgrade whenever they decide.

Just got mines, great phone so far. Also had the 12 and there’s really no difference other than the a rounded shape and a few other little things.

Originally, I wanted to get a 12 mini. I was one week and $250 away from buying it. I ended up buying the 11, because I didn't feel like waiting. Coming from the iPod touch 7, the iPhone 11 was a major upgrade pretty much across the board. It's a shame that Apple discontinued the 256GB option because the cameras are just too good for the 128GB option I settled for all but completely maxing it out in a mere 2.5 months. Despite the 256GB option being only available refurbished, I'm saving up hoping to get it soon.

I have a iPhone 11 that I bought in May 2021 and I also have a the black one too, I used to have a 6s which was given to me by my mom in 2020 and then I ended up having to get rid of that phone because the battery was going bad. So I just went out and got me another phone and I’m really happy with the decision I made to buy this phone cause I really like and I don’t plan on getting rid of it until it starts to slow down and act up on me a lot.

Can you switch seemlessly through lenses ( ultra wide, wide, tele ) if you start recording video on the wide lense in 4K60? I know it wasnt a thing when this phone came out so im asking if it has changed with software updates.

I wouldn’t upgrade to 11 from XR. Upgrade to 13 or higher. The difference between 11 and XR aren’t big.
I got an iPhone 11 in 2022. Brought it for 150 so even if I didn’t like it, not a big loss. It’s the only “new style” iPhone I’ve ever used and I’m very impressed. I should note the last time I owned an iPhone was an iPhone 4.

I was going to change my SE 2020 for for a SE 2022. When I saw Amazon was doing a refurb iPhone 11 Pro 256gb for £405 I thought what the hell and ordered it. Will be here today so fingers crossed it’s ok.

Read my mind, looking to snag my mum an iPhone and bring her into the Apple family. 🥰 She isn’t too fussed about all the bells and whistles like 5G, and elite gaming performance - like me. So the 11 series seems like a super valid option. Tempted to find her a 12 or 13 though.

Got my iPhone 11 late 2020 so it was made in November of 2020 so it is kinda feels new hehehe so far until this day it is performing very well and running very well without any problems with a battery health of 83%

For me 5g doesnt matter that much, and right now iphone 11 and 12 mini are more or less at the same price point, which would be a better bet, is the 5nm more efficent even though if it is 2200 mah aorund, or 3100 and 7nm chip is better, i do not play games, but social media and photos lightroom , what would be your recommendation

Best is to find a good condition one with minimum battery wear. However you can pay abit for Apple to replace the battery.
Yes I would like to have one this August. I have been on 6Plus which give me hard times because the software update has already been obsolete.
The battery life is great. I just got 6 hours and 15 mins with 27% battery left. I’ve had one since Aug 2021.

Most of this review was filmed in 4K 24fps, some shots were in slow mo 120fps, all filmed with a vintage Helios lens that makes the background look like butter

Got the iPhone 12 Pro Max last year and it was a very good phone except the size lol. I gave it to my wife for her iPhone 11. Maybe I’ll get the iPhone 14 Pro next - big phone arent just for me. At least I’ve used that Pro Max to the fullest and got the experience 😁

Hello. I am having a big problem in deciding on what iPhone to upgrade to after 6 years. I currently have the iPhone 6. Regular iPhone 13 which has PWM and OLED screen, I have never used before but I am on sensitive side. Scared of effects or symptoms. Or normal iPhone 11. I don't really need the latest and greatest. Please advise? Thanks.
If you're sensitive and want to stay with iPhones get the 11 or if you want latest 13 pro may be ok for. Can always try it to be sure. 14 models are coming soon so would be worth waiting.
If you want an android just look for ones with DC dimming. There's some good choices out there. I tried an oppo find X2 pro and cameras are amazing but I'm back to an iPhone 11 due to wanting an iPhone as I have a Mac and iPad and want to keep it together lol
@@Jason-lu3rl So why is this thing a issue? How come others are not feeling? Otherwise Apple would be ALREADY notified of this PWM. They should fix it by next iPhone or 15. So do you recommend I go from iPhone 6 to 11 this late? I could have gotten 2 years ago or last year
@@SaboorK it's really an issue only for a limited amount of the population. It's hard to say why exactly some people don't and others are fine but I believe it has something to do with the constant flickering and the way your eyes adjust to this. As its flickering so much it causes eye strain and fatigue for some and it ranges too. If it's low range flickering at pwm between 100-300hz some will really feel it and have issues. Where they might not feel anything above this or some are sensitive to all pwm.
Flickering has been around for awhile but it's an issue with OLED in particular because they use pwm to help protect the screen from burnin. But I could be wrong as to why its used. Also some people may not even know that their phones are causing headaches or eye strain. I only learnt about it after noticing effects badly on a galaxy s10 but when using an iPhone 11 for work I was fine. I went from almost daily headaches and migraines sometimes to literally nothing it was a game changer. I even tried an iPhone 12 and that was unbearable. After doing more research and trying different phones confirmed the issue for me. Most monitors these days are actually flicker free and advertised as such because they know the effects on eye health. It's just strange that mobiles have been forgetten about.
If everyone had the issue then Apple would make their phones more accommodating but as it's only limited people the cost and effort isn't worth it to them. As technology advances I'm this won't be an issue or if Apple caters for this then it would be gone buts a time issue at this stage. Other companies are focusing on this so hopefully they pick up on it.
Yes it sucks getting an older iPhone but honestly no headaches and less eye strain will be worth it long term for both mind and general health. If your unsure Apple let you return phones within 14 days if not happy. Maybe try the new 13 models and see how you go. There have been some positive comments about the 13 pro being much better on the eyes. It still has pwm but at 400hz so some may have no issues.

@@SaboorK it's still flicker it's just at a higher rate that makes it harder for the eyes to tell which in turn means possibly less issues. So it should be better on the eyes. You can always try in store as well and use it for a bit. Flickering can be instant for some to notice or have side effects too and others it may be hours or randomly be triggered. Best to trial one to be sure.
iPhone 11 LCD screen is like an iPhone 6 but bezels of the screen are more like an iPhone xs or xr. If screen is important to you and you want best quality 13 models would be best but 14s aren't far so they may have a fix for flickering maybe.

@@ttristanw True. It's 3 years old but since iPhone keeps supporting its products for a long period of time, it is a good option to have in mind. Also, its A13 bionic chipset doesn't prove itself old and it's a pretty strong chipset.
@@mrtogether5596 there are still better options, the chipset is old and not as efficient as newer phones, and the screen is 720p LCD. Phone is way too expensive for what you are getting.
@@mio8765 if you want the best phone for the money then I would say realme the pro, but idk if it's cheap in your country but in mine it's only like 700$. And for that you get what are essentially flagship specs.
The reason I can't suggest the iPhone 11 is that Apple is overpricing their old products because they know people buy it.

I love this iPhone 11 I think it has a good camera for this budget ur buying for it has a decent battery life and I tried the 13 pro and for some reason I liked the 11 camera more then the 13 pro but the 13 pro is better in everything else
iPhone 11 is good and better than my former iPhone SE first generation.. I noticed that this iPhone 11 storage cannot hold too much video recording.. I have to move and delete some photos and video to a another storage spaces..

Im planning to buy my very first iphone, that is iphone 11 next week as a birthday gift for myself . I am currently using samsung A32, and it is a nice phone but the camera is not gooood.. i am a heavy user of social media, like tiktok and insta. I love taking pictures and videos so i thought maybe ip11 would be a great phone. But, some people said that its not worth it anymore. Like, the battery sucks and it takes them 3x of charging just to get through the day because they are gaming. The pro and promax (refurbished) is still expensive in my country and since ip11 is phase out now there are only a few brandnew units that are being sold so i think i should get one asap. I have to admit that theres a lot of bad reviews about ip11 and it discouraged me and thought maybe i should stick to android. But after this video, im thinking maybe i should still give it a try. Maybe its still worth it for the year 2023....
I had the iPhone XR in white and sold it then desired to get it again but only got black it was a good phone the iPhone 11 is about the same
Just ordered mine last night and it'll be here one day this week. The iPhone 11 was the last design before the modern iPhone squared design and the value of the iPhone 11 on the used and refurbished market is the best value in 2023. I just got tired of random android issues and went back to iOS.
